"This is a luxury resort with about twenty rooms that have large windows and decks facing a central green area with two swimming pools, outdoor decks with tables, an olive grove, a tennis court. The central restaurant (Locanda) was not open while we were there - it is open June - Sept. But we did have breakfast in the Locanda and it was quite deluxe. Off-season, it's a great deal. "I enjoyed staying in the small village. The locals were lovely, friendly and kind. The management of the hotel were excellent - very warm and kind. The local bakeshop, where we had coffee every morning - Shardana - was also excellent. The owners were very hands-on and invited me to dinner to meet some of their friends. You don't get this in large hotels."
