"I booked a little hut. No private bathroom and no water, but as expected. Ok priced, directly at the lake. Interior a little old but comfy enough."

"We only stayed for one night as we drove from Kjerag to Oslo. The cottage had everything we needed. There is an option to self clean the cottage. Otherwise it is extra for linens and cleaning which adds up to the cost of the place. "

"All staff was helpful. I especially enjoyed chatting with a waitress. I’ve forgotten her name. I do remember she said she was 75. She didn’t look it! She was very welcoming and pleasant. Breakfast was very good. I loved the old public rooms with their antiques and decor. Wish we could’ve stayed longer"

"Impersonal service no interaction. Buffet was basic but ok except for greasy potatoes. Room clean and good view from the window. Not a lot to do in the area except walking. Half motel half campsite. Overall a bit ramshackle!"
