Gut gelegene Lodge mit schoenem Garten und Pool. Leider war das erste Zimmer, dass man mir gegeben hatte, frisch gestrichen und roch entsprechend. Das zweite Zimmer war gegenueber einer Wand voller Klimaanlagen und dementsprechend laut. Erst das dritte Zimmer war ok. Das Essen im Restaurant war eher mittelmaessig, Kartoffeln z.B. nicht durchgekocht, was deshalb ein Probelm ist, da die Lodge recht weit vom naechsten Restaurant entfernt liegt. Das Hotelpersonal war zwar hilfsbereit, wirkte aber dabei etwas uninterressiert. Insgesamt Mittelmass.

Nice and quite, needs a bit of updating

Check in was quick and efficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quieter part of the city, so there was hardly any noise. The room was large enough, but the bathroom can do with a bit of updating, it was clean, just a bit tired. Breakfast was ok, it might be a bit helpful to have a menu so that people can order, rather than just verbally listing whatever is available to someone( this could just have been a one off as my stay was during the COVID-19 epidemic). There is ample parking with secured entry. check out was unremarkable- quick and efficient.

Decent hotel with great staff

Beautiful Hotel and very welcoming

The whole staff was very welcoming and helpful at all times. The hotel was very clean. The food was excellent. I really enjoyed staying in the hotel and would not mind staying there again. The cleaning was outstanding and the staff was very helpful at all times. The surrounding is also very peaceful and relaxing. Cresta Gaborone nice hotel off of downtown

Good hotel, good wifi

The last time I stayed at this hotel was a few years back, and the wifi connection was bad, hence I stayed at other hotels after that. However, this round, too my pleasant surprise, the wifi connection has improved tremendously - this is especially crucial for someone like me who needs to get work done on the go and stay connected with my office back home.

Cresta Lodge - a last resort!

Not sure why we give Cresta hotels a second chance, this is not the first time they've disappointed. After driving four-and-a-half hours from Tonota and looking forward to a drink in the bar / garden area, we were informed that it was closed to hotel guests because of a function. Having booked a non-smoking room, this also meant I couldn't smoke my cigar that evening. Cresta always seem to put short-term profits before the enjoyment of their paying hotel guests - I won't mention what happened in the Cresta Marang (Francistown) a couple of years ago. If we'd had known the garden bar was closed, we would have booked elsewhere - having a few drinks in the inside cafeteria area is most definitely no substitute.
