The hotel was awesome. All of the food and wine were incredible and the staff were very friendly. Definitely feels like a getaway in the country and is very quiet. Two important notes: - To use the sauna/hot tub, let the staff know a few hours in advance so they can heat up - Bring bug spray to the pool. The mosquitoes are aggressive Overall we had a very good stay and would do it again!

Such a classic Tuscany location. Beautiful old Watermill turned into a hotel so it is very rustic. Cell phone service on the area is not good but WiFi seemed fine. Pools were nice but not too big and not a lot of space to accommodate all guests. Enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were helpful.

A Relaxing Retreat.

A quaint and beautifully renovated old mill dating back to the 1400s. The grounds are spacious, and are home to both flowering plants and herbs. Lots of areas to access, both shaded and in full sun. Food was excellent. You are able to access the sister facility, opened recently, just a short distance away. It’s worth the walk, as the pool faces expansive views of the surrounding countryside. Both facilities are exceptional in quality and cleanliness.

Great place. We were not at the main location but it was just up the road. Service was great. We did eat at the restaurant once. It was not my favorite of our trip but not bad. We did the spa at the place in the town and that sss nice

A gorgeous small (only 14 rooms?) boutique hotel, tucked away in a wooded valley, between Gaiole and Radda-in-Chianti, Only a 5-10 minute drive from both towns, but could be on another planet, it is so tranquil. Lovely public areas and rooms, with an outdoor pool (early in the season, so too cold to use when we stayed), jacuzzi and sauna. A nice restaurant on site, so you don't need to worry about drink/driving with all the wonderful local wines on offer. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Hope we can stay there again sometime!

Charming and romantic

This hotel is as charming as they come. We did not want to leave!!! Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic and the breakfast buffet was exactly what was needed. Would highly recommend!

The property is perfect to wind down, it’s quiet with beautiful views. Room was clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. By car you can easily reach the Chianti villages, perfect to visit the shops and have delicious food.

Great home-base for a rural Chianti stay.

Great location for day trips around Chianti. Pool area was lovely (although the pool is not heated), and the lobby has a Wine Machine, where you can despense a variety of local wines at any time you choose! Breakfast had a good variety of tasty treats, fruit and veggies. The rooms were comforable, although the air conditioning is not super strong, and with not screens on the windows we were a bit warm at night. Overall terrific stay!
