It is an amazing location nested among wineries and rolling hills. If you like a quiet and sophisticated location this is your ideal place. You will need a car to move around but, you will be rewarded by the view and the opportunities for wine tastings and small villages visits.

Perfect bed and breakfast stay

A planned Tuscany trip in the making for over a year. Saw this property came up while doing research and had a wonderful and romantic history. The property was even more beautiful than the pictures posted. It definitely caters to all types of travellers. A perfect bed and breakfast stay. Definitely recommend and will be back again.

Un Sueño Toscano

El hotel es súper Charming! Tal cual lo que uno sueña con vivir cuando uno visita La Toscana. El área de la piscina es ESPECTACULAR! Las instalaciones divinas! El desayuno deli! El Lugar parece de un cuento Toscano. El vino delicioso! Todo 10/10 lo súper recomiendo! También recomiendo llevar cositas para picar como olivas, nueces, quesos (hay neverita) o algo así para acompañar el vino ya que no hay mercados cerca, los restaurantes tampoco son muy cerca y si uno se quiere quedar en el hotel no hay opciones de comida. Nosotros para la última tarde llevamos cositas del pueblo y decidimos hacer un picnic hermoso al atardecer! Muy buen plan!

Dette sted er helt magisk og autentisk. Det er flot istandsat og velholdt. Indendørs er der rent og pænt. Udendørsarealerne er super flotte og der er virkelig kælet for detajlerne. Der er en super smuk udsigt over Chiantis vinmarker. Servicen er i top. Alt er fuldstændig gennemført autentisk Toscansk. Der kan bestilles utrolig lækre morgenkurv/mad med lunt brød og skønne oste, pølser, juice mv. Familien den har stedet er utrolig servicemindede og meget hjælpsomme i forhold til forslag til ture/oplevelser, forslag til restauranter og booking af samme. Vi kan i den grad anbefale stedet.

I recently came to Gaiole for a legal conference. The rest of the group were all staying at a more famous much more expensive resort a few km away but because I booked late I was not able to get a room there. I booked Pieve Marsina because it was the next closest hotel to the conference and I was not sure what to expect. The rest of my group did not either, since they were all staying at a five star resort and I seemed to be staying at some off the beaten path hotel. However, by the end of our respective stays, they were all jealous of my experience and wished they had booked La Pieve Marsina. While they were all disappointed with their five star resort I have become aware of the best kept secret in Chianti and maybe all of Italy. The minute I emerged from the surrounding countryside and saw the resort I became faintly aware of just how lucky I had gotten. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills, more than once I just sat outside for an hour or two, enjoying a coffee or glass of wine and soaking it all in. As soon as I arrived Gabrielle was there to greet me and help take my luggage to my room (which was less a room and more a giant villa all to myself). Gabrielle was always available to help and was sincerely one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Thank you Gabrielle. I had an absolutely fantastic stay here, and I can’t wait to come back.

Lejlighed “out in nowhere” i Chianti Classico

På ferie i Toscana. Lejligheden ligger afsides hvilket giver total ro med udsigt over vinmarker. God terrasse med dejlig udsigt. Lejligheden var OK med kolde rum selvom der ikke var aircondition. Vi boede fire voksne og der var to gode soveværelset samt et udmærket badeværelse. Lækker swimmingpool som lå i haven 1 minut fra lejligheden. Der var fri grill til rådighed og køkkenet havde hvad vi havde behov for uden at være prangende. Det var samtidig et godt udgangspunkt for besøg på vingårde i Chianti Classico, Siena og Firenze : et sted vi godt kan finde på a booke igen

Good accommodation in Tuscany.

Good Tuscany style accommodation about 15km from Siena. It is fairly rustic in style but I guess standard for the area and price. Travelled with 10 month baby with sufficient cot provided.

Very quiet and relaxing place. Beautiful views of the winery. Not far from Siena and Pianella (grocery shopping and cheaper restaurants). We had the appartment called 'Pozzo' which was very spacious with a large kitchen area. If you want to spend time outside of the appartment we would recommend one of the other appartments, since Pozzo's sitting area in the garden is quiet small and only has direct sunlight in the evening. The other appartments had more spacious gardens with a better view. No restaurant, bar or entertainment facilities at the location itself.

Great place to stay

This beautiful villa was located in a lovely spot. A bit isolated but we had a full kitchen so we just did our own cooking and sat outside drinking wine and taking in the wonderful view. Gabrielle was on hand if you needed anything.

古老的石头房子，壮丽的托斯卡纳风景，大大的厨房可以家庭聚餐，很值得住。另外离锡耶纳只有20多分钟的车程。酒店有些难找，但借助GPS经纬度就行，找酒店的路上也是风景很好，另外掌柜英语好，可以打电话沟通，他会在附近的小镇接。
