"We have just returned from a wonderful week near Tettnang. The flat is on the second floor of a lovely traditional German farmhouse, near enough to Lake Constance to be able to explore the beautiful towns and villages on the lake itself, but far enough away to escape the tourists. "Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider war gerade eine Baustelle auf dem Gelände. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön! Die Ausstattung der Küche könnte besser sein, da es nicht mal Gewürze oder Rührschüsseln gab. Und es ist recht hellhörig. Für 1 Woche war es ok."

"Pros- beds were comfortable, it was quiet, full kitchen was great, self check-in went smoothly. Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed. All of the water ran to the end of the shower and out into the bathroom instead of to the drain. Even after a very short shower the water had flooded the bathroom almost to the door. "Excellent location. Walking about 15 min on the same street to City Center. Quiet place. Very clean. The place had everything we needed for our trip, including kitchen utensils. Everything we did was via machines and we did not meet a single person. It was a bit weird but everything worked out. The check-in machine on the right did not have the letter "D" so that was a problem."
