Wonderful/ cozy spot

I absolutely loved the place, it’s super cute and the bed was so comfortable! I slept like a baby! Very nice outdoor area with tables, fire pit and big pond!

Blue Ridge Mountains Galax

Nice place to enjoy the many offerings of the region. Perfect size for 2 - husband + wife. Pet friendly. We enjoyed biking the New River Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway and music at the Blue Ridge Music Center.

Very relaxing and peaceful.

Everything we hoped for. Very clean and so relaxing. We loved the tranquility and atmosphere. Watching the clouds over the pond and listening to the rain was wonderful. Kathy was a great host and everything was perfect. Just wish we could have stayed longer. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

My stay was just for a weekend. However, it was in a perfect location for visiting family in the area. This is rural area, quiet, and beautiful. The property is well maintained and the hosts are very nice.

A Country Pleasure

Really enjoyed our night here. Exactly as described in listing. Beautiful country setting with a pond, rocking chairs, overlooking a peaceful scenery. Property owners set up a fire pit for us for an enjoyable evening. Great service, and a great stay; we will be back!

Beautiful location

The property was very beautiful. The cute little house was clean and have everything we needed, even coffee and creamer. The house sits in a large property with a pond, plenty of space to walk our dogs. The location was great, only 15 minute drive to my mother in law’s house. The bed is VERY comfortable. I highly recommend.

Charming

This is absolutely a great property! Kathy and Craig respond quickly with all needs. The peaceful landscape and charming home was perfect for me, my husband and our German shepherd. Lots of room and they’ve thought of everything you would want or need. Very clean and homey!! This is our 3rd time staying here and we’ll definitely be back.

A beautiful peaceful stay

I have been in real estate for 37 years and this property was beautiful. The scenic view from the covered porch and the inside was as comfortable as staying in your own home (very comfortable). The location is just 10--15 minutes into downtown Galax but being in the peaceful setting was more than anyone could ask for. The two little pups enjoyed the large backyard (acre+) that they could run. The place as spotless and the beds were really comfortable. I would definitely and will stay again. The owners of this property keep this place in wonderful condition and exceptionally nice people.

Always feels like home.

I can’t say enough about how comfy and cozy this property is. The bed is so comfortable, perfect size for 2 people and well equipped. Hated that we had to cut our stay short due to an unexpected emergency but we will be back. We love this property. Our only issue, we wish the water got hotter.

Country Serenity

This home will certainly be at the top of our list when we visit Galax even if we don't bring our dog. Everything was clean and well cared for and the home had a lot of space for a one bedroom! The large grassy area where we walked our dog was clean of debris (which isn't always the case). The host is very responsive and handled all our questions quickly. This home is a great find!

Very comfortable

This is a lovely property. Check in was so easy. It's a bit out of town, which is not a bad thing. Very comfortable with full bed/bath/living room and nicely supplied kitchen with full range, cookware, dishwasher, coffee maker. I wasn't so sure about accommodations for our 16' motorcycle trailer. In the end, all worked out OK. For motorcyclists, the coarse gravel on an incline in and out makes for some squirrly arrivals and departures, but thankfully no major issues. We loved our time here.

Very relaxing

The rental was extremely comfortable. Small but perfect size for my husband, myself and our two pups. Front porch rockers have a ver calming view. It would have been helpful if we had known ahead of time that dogs are not allowed on the bed. Our dogs sleep with us. Thankfully we had a couple of blankets with us to make a bed for them. The first night was a bit of a challenge to keep them on the floor but the figured it out the second night. We would definitely stay there again if we get back that way.

Very nice

We only stayed here one night to break up our trip from OH to NC. The place is about 20 minutes off the highway but that was clear from the posting. The house itself is actually 2 rentals split by a breezeway. There were people next door but we never saw nor heard them, so no issues there. The place was perfect for us. The bed was comfy, furniture was nice and had all amenities. Plenty of space for the two of us. There’s a grill under the pavilion that we used. The house is close to Pilot Mountain so we stopped there on the way home, a must see if you’re in the area. Kathy responded very quickly to all my questions and was really pleasant to work with. Overall, our stay was vey goog. I would recommend and will stay again.
