We originally only planned to stay one night, but after arriving to the Palacio and seeing our room (vary spacious), we opted to book another night. It was a little drive into Bilbao, but totally worth it for the peaceful location with beautiful views.

Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word. We enjoyed our stay very much, and especially, our spacious room with a magnificent view of the surroundings. The breakfasts were simple and tasty. Coffee was great! Clean, well located. Corner rooms have wrap around terrace. Deluxe room has no true closet and bathrooms are not true rooms - more like glass booths. Overall good but minimal. The sole lift was incredibly slow, even the door! Mostly used the stairs. Good coffe bar and common area.

Property and room were both very clean and newly refurbished. Staff was also friendly and helpful. Only downside is hotel does not have its own parking, but there is public parking available nearby.

Close by to Guggenheim. Easy access to public transport. Clean. Quiet. Good WIFI. skip hotel breakfast and go to Cokooncafé for the best breakfast you will find in the area.

Lovely pension in the old city! Fantastic location for walking around, right in the middle of everything, a charming little balcony, and the room was still super quiet when the window was closed. Brand new and lovely renovations, a towel warmer(!!), nice shower with great water pressure, mini fridge and small coffee maker. Additional appreciation for the lovely reception staff person who kindly answered all my questions and helped me find things I was looking for even on Sunday when everything...

Great location!

This place was fantastic! We were a family of four staying in one room and a family of three staying in another. We had amazing staff at reception as well as cleaning. Everyone was so nice, helpful and kind! Will DEFINITELY stay here again on another trip!

This Hotel is the perfect location with a great staff who is very welcoming. We were starting and ending our trip in Bilbao at this hotel. The staff really helped us out and he’d our luggage while we travelled across Spain. The staff seeks ways to be helpful. Our room was a great size and style. The windows are soundproof in this wonderful central location. We loved our location!!!

Great location in old town. Charming, historic room

Beautiful modern property located in close proximity to the Guggenheim Museum. Rooms are well equipped, modern and clean with large showers. Very friendly staff at check-in, luggage service, housekeeping, bar and check-out. Only stayed 1 night but will def book again if I was to return to Bilbao.

This hotel is a great location for the Guggenheim and for dining. It’s a bit longer walk to the old town section of town. If you have a car you will find the garage exceptionally clean and relatively easy to get in and out of. It’s also easy to get in and out of the city from the hotel. The staff are very professional, courteous, and most of the kitchen staff speak some English. The food was very good and my family especially appreciated the orange juice machine for breakfast.
