It is located in the charming old town area of Kirkby Lonsdale, within easy walking of the river and the town's independent shops, pubs with local brews, and excellent restaurants. Farther afield, KL is an ideal spot from which to explore the Dales of Cumria, Lancashire and Yorkshire. We would definitely visit The Old Weigh House again."

I was able to contact the owners easily and they responded to my requests for extra crockery promptly. The view from the front doorstep in the evening is lovely, blackpool tower all lit up in its glory. Lots to do locally with the beach , winter gardens, blackpool zoo, the model villiage & the pleasure beach all not very far away. .
