"Beautiful villa in a great location"

"When I asked some Italian friends about the most beautiful lake in Italy, they all mentioned "il Lago d'Orta". We decided to spend a week near the lake and were not disappointed. We liked the ancient villages of Orta San Giulo and Pella, the hikes around Ameno and the stunning views from the top of the Mottarone mountain, as well as the restaurants with great food. "We very much enjoyed our stay. We organised this very last minute and Illaria was swift in replying and very helpful indeed throughout our stay. The house is very comfortable and spacious. The village is sweet and the starting point for lovely walks. We ate in good restaurants nearby Orta which is beautiful. Even though we came late October early November the kids even jumped for a chilly dip in the pool. I would recommend a stay here "

"We had a wonderful time - we had a group of 8 with parents and 20 something kids - so the three separate living spaces all connected worked really well for us. Only surprise was the hill to get up to the location with little taxi/uber etc service - so we got our steps in ! Also the hosts were extremely helpful with arranging cars etc to get around. The house is really beautiful and well equipped and the views were gorgeous!"
