"This is a beautiful home in a very private neighborhood. The photos do not do this home justice; it is much more elegant, clean, and well-situated than a picture can capture. I will say you do need a car. While there are advantages to staying outside of Madrid (about 1.15 hours) for access to the nearby supermarket and restaurants, one needs a vehicle despite the short distance. A lovely place to stay

"This is (so far) the best place we have stayed in Spain. It is well situated just inside the city wall (which actually forms one of its walls) with excellent staff, several eating options and a pleasant outlook. Our room was large and well furnished and in Avila everything is in walking distance. We liked the hotel so much we stayed another night "
