"This was amazing. To be staying in a 500 year old monastery was remarkable. The history was awesome. We were in an amazing suite with all the luxuries you could want. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. We would certainly recommend this hotel."

"A very comfortable stay, with spacious, comfortable rooms and views across to the town and cathedral. Slightly longer that 'walkable' distance from town, but we were happy to drive/bus, both very easy to do and only a few minutes. Loved the outdoor pool area, though slightly disappointed to find the indoor one closed. Evening meal good value. Room very comfortable, with small terrace for views. Facilities in room good, although some fittings (handles, taps) rather 'tired' and loose. "

"We booked the Suite for a long weekend and weren’t disappointed. Room was spacious with numerous balconies. Extra touches with cakes, fruit or sweets daily along with bottled water, besides the normal tea and coffee. Cleanliness was second to none. Staff were professional and polite. Breakfast was full of variety along with freshly cooked eggs and bacon by order. The indoor and rooftop pool facilities were amazing. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity along with bars. Just a short walk away from the Palace and its gardens that are well worth a visit. Highly recommend."

"Looking for a dog friendly hotel in or close to Segovia didnt have much choice. Settled on El Rancho and we were delighted. Forgot to tell them we would have a dog when we booked but the reception staff couldnt have been more helpful. Lovely room on ground floor with a patio door out onto a grassed area was perfect for those middle of the night calls. Continental breakfast had lots of choice"
