The Hive Hotel

"They were able to check us in to our room 2hrs earlier, which was great to freshen up before seeing the sites. The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was a little unnecessarily rushed, when we weren't planning to take much time to eat so we could be out to explore. They did cater to our gluten-free and dairy-free restrictions, which is always nice when traveling."

"This was an historic hotel. They have an elevator, but we had to walk a long way on our floor to get to our rooms. The rooms were spacious. The beds were hard. The bathroom was luxurious. You can tell it’s a very old building. A lot of old furniture decorated the hallways. It was very nice, and was probably very elegant in its day."

"Beautiful reception but breakfast at different location and our room at different location which was ok but room had a small door to balcony that was simply usable as view was terrible to all others rooms and like a utility square… staff were not very helpful felt everything was too much trouble!"

"Location was very convenient for public transport with good links to the Vatican and the main terminus. Some attractions were well within walking distance of 15 minutes which include the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Things to note are if your room is upstairs there is no lift. This wasn't an issue for our stay but worth a mention. There is a lovely little garden area at the back. Local convenient stores are within 5 minutes walk should you need snacks. Rooms were stocked with essentials including tea and making facilities. AC was working very nicely which was needed and csn be changed to your preference. WiFi was also strong and included in our stay. Receptionist was very knowledgeable about the area and places to visit, which weren't on the map. Overall a very pleasant stay and would come back again. Thank you for the hospitality 😀"
