"My family and I just returned from an absolutely wonderful stay at Ferme de Pontaly! Cécile and Alexandre are fantastic hosts - always available to answer all of your questions and making sure you are always comfortable. We live in a busy suburb of Washington DC and it was nice to get away and relax in the French countryside. We enjoyed waking up every morning to the sound of chickens and horses. "Friendly staff and a good price. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a little kitchenette. But our bathroom smelt so bad of smoke we had to keep the door closed and hold our breath when we went in there. I'm not sure how but it seemed like the smoke smell got worse the longer we were there. We finally asked to move rooms but they didn't have anything else available. I also tried to get an additional pillow but they didn't have any available. "
