Situated just steps away from the beach it is a fan favorite for all ages. Perfect for multiple families or couples traveling together. This vacation rental easily accommodates 10 - 12 people with its open floor plan, covered deck, and cleared path to the beach!

Step inside and the crisp color palette with coastal accents creates a refreshing oasis. Gather around the living area and admire the beachfront views through the windows. Watch the shorebirds darting in and out of the surf from the dining table. Cooking together in the well-planned kitchen is easy with plentiful counter space. Pots, pans, and utensils are all included. Bond over breakfast in the morning or while enjoying fresh Gulf seafood dinners at night!

The two king bedrooms feature spectacular Gulf views, so wake up and fall asleep to the sounds of the waves. The two double-bed rooms are tucked in the back, so the kids and teens can stay up late or sleep in while the adults enjoy their morning coffee. Sea Haven is a short drive away from all of Galveston's best attractions, bars, and restaurants. Moody Gardens and Galveston Schlitterbahn are 10 minutes away. The Galveston Pleasure Pier is15 minutes away and the Strand is 20 minutes away. If you are feeling to venture a little further out the Kemah boardwalk is only a 40-minute drive away but well worth the trip.

Excellent!
This was by far the cleanest place we have ever stayed in! Super nice and so easy! Not a ton of special instructions when you leave either, just take out trash and clean up after yourself which people should do without being told! We will stay here again. Oh and it is right beside the public beach and all day on Saturday the ice cream truck came by hourly playing music which our granddaughter LOVED! Super nice and clean!!

Amazing 4th of July weekend with family
Amazing house, amazing location on the beach, highly recommend. I live in south Texas and had family from Louisiana meet up in Galveston. What a beautiful home with all the needed amenities and excellent location on the beach. It was 4th of July and we could watch all the fireworks from the public beach to the right and the fireworks from downtown seawall as well. Enough space for all of us adults and kids, we absolutely loved our stay!!!!

Beautiful Home on the beach
The home was clean and communication was easy. It was right on the beach, would stay again. In front of the home was a private beach but just across is public so there is people watching but also privacy. During our stay, there were lots of mosquitoes downstairs so we couldn’t utilize downstairs of the house. It was that time of year with recent rains unfortunately but overall we had a good experience.

The house was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of room for our group and it had everything we needed during our stay. The location can't be beat; being able to walk onto the beach and not need to cart a million things made the trip 100x better!

this was a great stay for us. Our teen had a softball tournament most of the weekend. The fact they could run to the beach and enjoy some down time was so easy for us. even better, we could sit on the porch and watch them while having a glass of wine. everyone wins at this house! Jason is very responsive as well.

Great venue for a golf trip or family vaca!
We had an amazing experience at this beach house. The property is well maintained and perfectly positioned for beach festivities and is very close to Moody Gardens but not far from downtown nightlife. Ample parking for multiple vehicles. Easy and simple check in and check out. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect vacation home
After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to rent but so glad I did!! Walked in and it smelled like a new home. Found out I was the first to rent it after the remodel. It's on the corner as you enter the beach so your view of the people coming and going is entertaining and yet it's quiet and relaxing!! Plus not far from everything. We'll definitely be back again!!

Great little pet-friendly house on the beach!
Was perfect for our family's after-Thanksgiving weekend stay, along with my daughter's little pet dog. Quiet and we liked the no cars on the beach area in front of the house. Loved the location for driving into Strand area for dining and visiting shops only 10-15 minutes away.

The notable feature of this property is the location right on the beach...
the rest was pretty disappointing. The house is in disrepair and generally dirty. The walls are stained, the floors are warped and buckled, and the furniture is old and stained. And while I realize the higher price point generally relates to location, there are expectations when paying $700+ per night that the house will be clean and the amenities sufficient. Neither were true on our visit. The house has a Kuerig but no coffee pods; bathroom towels but no beach towels; and de minimus cleaning supplies which were desperately needed. In sum, the house is right on the beach and the A/C worked like a charm. However, the rest of the house left too much to be desired to return.

The location is great, but the house could use a better cleaning crew (we found a fishhook on one of the bedroom floors), the floors are unleveled and we had to wash some of the kitchen utensils and pots and pans before using them. Food from previous quests was left in the refrigerator. More updated furniture would be nice. There needs to be better instructions on using the televisions as well as instructions on the front door general opening and locking procedures. (Maybe attached to the televisions and door.) It would also be helpful to have more than 1 front door key. I think with a great deal of TLC, this would be a perfect beach house.

Beautiful view of the beach!
It had a dirty Air conditioning filter, Some Electrical components exposed where wires were coming from outside on patio from top of ceiling on patio: The outside trail to beach needed cutting back so people could walk easily through it without getting bit by any snakes. there was warped wood flooring inside in a few places.The driveway with those bull rocks made it hard to drive in to park, and hard to walk out to the beach; painful for bare feet and with shoes on. The Good things were comfortable beds, and being so close to the private beach.

Great beach stay
The location was perfect! We enjoyed being close to the beach. The beds were comfortable, and the property manager was quick to respond. Our only issue was that the walls and doors were so dirty -- streaks of stuff everywhere. Paper towels and any sort of cleaning product were not provided, which seemed odd to us, but might be typical of vrbos. Also, be aware that the key/lock is very finicky. All in all, we had a great time!

Peaceful and fun mini vacation
The house was clean and well stocked with everything needed. The location was wonderful and we greatly enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the peaceful waves. We are all very pleased with the house and had a wonderful time. The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars on the cleanliness is because there were places on walls that need to be wiped down and the vents above the living door and windows really need to be cleaned. Other than those two issues, it was wonderful. Would definitely stay there again.

Garfield beach house
Upon arrival, the door lock was extremely hard to use. It has been a long time since anyone has had maintenance on the lock as to squirting it with WD-40. This is primarily due to saltwater conditions. Air-conditioning had a problem. One side of the house was cool fine the other side would not cool meaning there was no airflow on the hot side of the house. End result was the ducking for that side of the house had come loose in the attic from the blower section. The next day it was rectified, and the AC work perfectly. The floors were a little dusty and especially under the bed. Very dusty. Cushions would be a plus for the outdoor chairs on the balcony. A new couch would be totally in order for the living room. New cushions for the chairs would be an absolute need as they are flat and pretty much useless for support. I would also suggest to acquire seat cushions for the chairs at the table in the dining area. One of the ceiling fans were turned to rotate clockwise instead of counterclockwise, which is how they should be in the summer time. Unable to get to it and rectify the problem. The two bedrooms on the east side seriously need to have blackout drapes as the house next to the beach house on Garfield have bright spotlights and shine in and make it difficult to go to sleep. The owner was very friendly and obliged us as quick as he could to rectify the air-conditioning situation. No other comment need to be said, all in all we had a good time at the beach.

The house was perfect for our weekend away with friends. It was clean and the layout worked great for us. Access to the beach was very convenient. The mornings and evenings were so relaxing on the porch watching and hearing the ocean waves. Will book this house again!

This property is on the beach, just as described. It was a wonderful house to have our teenagers in. Everyone had plenty of their own space. We were close to everything without being in the middle of all the tourists. Highly recommend.
