Sea Turtle Tango- Close to beach! Community Pool!

Gulf View home in The Pointe San Luis community. Comfortable vacation place for your home away from home.

Beach access is a few door away at the end of the street - one minute and you arrive to the sand and open waters. The back porch has open view to the gulf and is beautiful place to watch the sunrise over the horizon.

The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and open floor plan. It is perfect for 2 families with 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, 1 twin/full bunk bed and 1 twin/twin bunk bed. This home requires stairs to access, No Elevator.

Guest(s) will have access to the community pool!

Most single-family homes on the beach are built on pilings. Guests must climb a full set of stairs to reach the first floor/main living area.

Great trip

Short weekend trip. House was exactly as described. Location was easy walking distance to beach. Vehicle entrance to beach not far, if you want to have your vehicle on beach. Will book again.

Nice house

The house is very nice and spacious, close to the beach. The problem we had was the fridge was not working, we have a problem with the water and the house need more trash bins, because when we arrived we found trash around the house. We have to pickup and clean the naiborns’s front yard.

Owners need many improvements before they continue to tent

Front door did not lock. Refrigerator did not work. Garage door would not open. Broken screens on the patio windows. Damaged hardwood floors in the master bedroom and the door to the patio would not open. The towels were ripped. The sheets were dirty and old you could see through. The toilet paper holder fell off and the towel racks were loose. The fireplace door was falling off. Last we saw not one but two mice in the house. If not for the beautiful beach and pool we would have left. The management company tried to do anything they could to help us. Tell the owner to pull this property and fix it to receive the price it asks.

Sea turtle tango

We really enjoyed our stay at San Luis point. The beach was beautiful and private. The kids loved the pool. It was close enough to the tourist activities in downtown Galveston but yet far enough away for us to enjoy family time.

Great Location House needs many repairs

This was a return trip for us to the home in Galveston. The location is super convenient to the beach with a 5 min walk to the beach, or to the community pool. The house though, needs several repairs....many were the same defects we reported on our first trip. These include: 1. Upstairs Patio Gate broken and off hinges...a danger if you have little ones. 2. Glass door cracked leading to the porch in spare bedroom. 3. Kitchen faucet is loose and is about to come off 4. Trash Can is tiny...in the kitchen. be prepared for many trips up/down to keep it serviceable. 5. Most bulbs downstairs on the patio and porch area are burned out and need to be replaced...only 1 of 5 works. 6. The ceiling room fan in the kids room is about to wobble off the mount. 7. Hardwoods in the master are still damaged; door from master onto the balcony does not open due to water damage. this could be a nice house, but the owners need to step up their game and complete these repairs given the asking price for their nightly and weekly rent.

Galveston Beach Retreat for Spring Break (3 adults/5 kids)

The beach home was awesome with walking access to the beach which made this a particularly good place to stay. The condo was lovely and well equipped. We had a great time. 3 adults and 5 kids ages 9-15 (4 boys) were able to stay here comfortably. Recommendations: 1. Improved WiFi. Our phones required rebooting several times a day to receive sufficient signal to receive calls. 2. More hot water. We ran out after only one person showering each time. 3. More available ice please Property issues present on our arrival: 1. Upstairs bedroom entrance to patio=floor is discolored and warped. Patio door sticks at the top and is difficult to open. (Maybe notify renters so as not to startle them and they won’t think they did it?) 2. Patio furniture main entrance=wood furniture—the footrests are loose and rotting and falling off. Although kids had a great time playing board games on the covered patio with the use of the patio furniture. 3. Couch in living room with back to main patio and seat facing staircase=the far left section of the recliner often was VERY difficult to reengage to sitting position and would stay stuck in extended position. Also, the far left arm of couch seems to be falling away from the couch. 4. -TV-Roku-WiFi = The TV reception and Roku did NOT work in either upstairs or downstairs bedrooms on our arrival or during the entire time we were there. TV in living room did work. The technician came to determine the problem. All was fixed on our last day. 5. WIFI=Poor wifi signal to phones and computer devices anywhere but in living room, and sometimes it was inadequate there, it came and went. The Following Two Were Real Challenges for us. 6. Hot water ran out FAST-This was a challenge! =Only one person could shower at a time, then we had to wait for more hot water. It didn’t matter if they rinsed off in outside shower, or used upstairs or downstairs showers. Could not use both or any combination of showers at the same time and have hot water. 7. Refrigerator Ice maker=The ice maker was working when we arrived. After a few uses that evening, it was gone. We had to make trips out to buy ice. 8. Refrigerator water flow=VERY slow. These issues did not interfere with our pleasant stay. When we did reach out to the Coastal Properties persons to discuss any of the above, we were met with pleasant and courteous exchanges. Visitors need to know that this location is 20 miles from Galveston proper (Walmart, groceries, restaurants).

Ideal Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend staying in this beautiful, family-friendly, clean and well-equipped home just a short walk from the beach! The neighborhood is quiet and comfortable. The house looked exactly as depicted in the photos. Definitely recommend!

It was great! The vacation i was looking forward too!

The entire place inside and out was very clean and tidy. No issues what do ever with the stay. The neighborhood was very friendly as well. Beach was nice and not over crowded in the area. Looking guard to coming back again.

Great Beach Getaway

We visited Sea Turtle Tango with our 3 kids and had a great time. The home was clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was decently stocked and the air conditioning blew nice and cold (it was August). There were plenty of bath towels and the washer/dryer came in very handy, although the dryer seemed to take forever to dry a load of laundry, so someone may want to check into that. We loved the ample seating both inside and out. Once complaint - In the late evenings we wanted to be able to sit down with the kids and watch a little TV, but the cable service left A LOT to be desired. There were literally NO CHANNELS, which was frustrating. I think the owners need to pay for an extra tier to get some basic cable channels at least. It was just a few houses down to the end of the street and a quick cross-over to the beach, which was wonderful. At night we would walk to the beach to check out the tidepools with our flashlights. All-in-all we had some wonderful family time and we would definitely stay here again!
