I enjoyed my stay in this condo unit. It was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I’ve stayed at the Dawn many times and have never been disappointed. The pools and amenities are wonderful and the grounds are meticulously kept.

Week at the Beach

Beautiful Condo right by the pool. First floor so easy access to pool. Everything we needed was there and grocery store just across the street. We had a fabulous time!

This place was perfect. Cute little one bedroom apartment with washer/dryer and across the street from the beach. The pool was awesome. The location was awesome. It’s a gated community and felt very safe. I couldn’t say enough about it - it was perfect!

The condo was perfect for my wife, son and I. It was super clean, I could tell that the owner puts a lot of work in maintaining the condo. It was just a short walk across the street from the beach and minutes away from all attractions. We had a great time and I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful unit! Equipped with everything needed! Lots of space. We will definitely return! Only downside was the hot tub was not kept clean, however this had nothing to do with the unit itself or the host!

Nice Condo in a pretty Resortlike Surrounding

The condo's amenities leave nothing to be desired. Terrace is right next to the pool/jacuzzi. Loungers at the pool are screwed down. But that's not a problem because there are always some free. Gardens maintained. This was our second time in this condo.

4 day Weekend getaway

The condo was clean when we arrived. The shower curtain needed replacing and they promptly did so. Great size and comfortable bed. The linens were plenty. It’s a very cute place and very secure. Close to Babe’s beach and parking was great. The couch does need replacing though. We were sitting on cushions on top of what felt like a sofa sleeper without the mattress. That was the only uncomfortable thing. We loved the pool. We would stay again if the couch is replaced.

Quaint and well organized

Easy access on bottom floor of a condo complex. Outside and inside well maintained. Access to 2 pools and gate to walk across street to beach. No beach view but pool view was nice. No TV in master which was fine with us but some like that. Also, not a compliant but suggest putting a blackout curtain in master as the flood light for the apartment is right above the window and shines in during the night and is distracting if not sleeping well. Overall the place is very nice, well updated, well maintained and we had all we needed.

Pros of the unit: The photos on the listing are a good representation of the layout of this unit. The bedroom was a generous size with a large walkin closet and comfortable king size bed. The bath can be accessed from the main living area or the bedroom. Cons of the unit: It definitely could use a new coat of paint throughout. There are no screens so opening the windows for fresh air is not an option. We had to contact the management company to clean the back patio/porch because it was filthy. The kitchen had been updated but the cookware had not been and was sparse at that. The living room couch is past its useful life and should probably be replaced......very uncomfortable.

It was a fantastic stay. It was clean and I truly have no complaints. The book of local things rated was a great touch. It had everything from food to shops to services close by. It was very helpful. A few things I wound have found helpful. 1- better contact from the host about how to get into the property. I sent an email the day of to find out if there was a key in a lock box or keypad to open the door and it ended up taking a few hours to get it all figured out. In their defense, I should have just called rather than emailed. 2- throwing a few board games in the closet would've been awesome. There was scrabble, but not many teens want to play that. It rained the two days we were there, so we were tired of looking at each other after the first day. 3- the pictures of property are a bit deceiving. It was a wonderful property, but it shows the beach and pier and I was thinking that you could see that from the property, which isn't the case. No worries, I wasn't picky, but just confused what I booked after the fact. It may be that I haven't had enough experience with vrbo too.

We had a great time...the room was spotless! Felt very clean and cozy. The location couldn't be better. Across the street from Wal-Mart, close to Sonic, steps to the beach, and the hot tub is the back yard. There is room for improvement, but it was somewhat out of the owner's hands...the hot tub broke while we were there and it was in chilly weather...one of the reasons we selected this condo was for the hot tub. Especially since the pool was freezing. We did attempt to walk to the other pool and hot tub on the resort since that pool is heated, but it was still too cold with the weather and the hot tub wasn't working either. The first night it worked, but the next morning it was broken. We still enjoyed our time with the comfort of the room and the balcony being a perfect view of the pool. It would have also been a nice addition to have coffee available in the room since we didn't go to the store until the following day, but they did serve it in the office so we just walked to the office when they opened at 9 am. Super friendly people and employees. Overall, we had a really great time and would stay here again...as long as there aren't further issues with the hot tub. We might just go in warmer months. Our 5 and 7 year old boys loved every bit of it. We took them to Rain Forest Cafe on our 2nd day since it was too cold to swim and that was an absolute hit...pricey, but fun. Thank you for our stay! We made wonderful memories!
