Enjoy incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico from this pet-friendly location with a quick, one block walk to the quiet neighborhood beach of Palm Beach. A wagon is provided to make the walk a breeze. At Good Tidings, you will enjoy having the entire home to yourselves and your loved ones.

Watch the waves roll in while enjoying a gorgeous coastal sunset, savor the sea breeze and sound of crashing waves, or do some stargazing of the beautiful night sky from the comfortable outdoor living area on the spacious covered porch.

After a day of fun in the sun, relax in the bright and airy living area featuring a vaulted ceiling and huge sliding glass doors that provide a picturesque view of the Gulf of Mexico. The open floor plan of the house provides the perfect space to make memories with loved ones and spend quality time together. Or, take a quick 8 minute car ride to the seawall to enjoy a variety of restaurants and fun activities, like mini-golf, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, the Pleasure Pier, or even surf lessons and Ghost Tours!

The house is located on a secluded cul-du-sac in a quiet neighborhood, so beach traffic and noise is minimal for quite evenings with your loved one, or a fun time with the family.

Make your vacation more memorable by bringing your furry family members to the beach! Dogs under 50lbs can join you at Good Tidings for a pet fee of $250. A second dog may be added for an additional $100.

**We encourage guests to purchase travel insurance. The cancellation policy will come into effect AS IS if the guest chooses to cancel the reservation.

Cozy Beach Cottage

We had a great stay in this cozy beach cottage. It is just like it is described, a five minute walk to the beach. The house is very comfortable and is full of anything you might need, and need for the beach too. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. The property manager is very easy to reach and to easy deal with. We had a very pleasant stay.

This is a great place to stay for 2 - 4 people. Inside looks brand new and is set up well. Does need some grill utensils. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Family Weekend Rental

This adorable home was perfect for our family’s long weekend. Just a few minutes walk to the beach— not too far for my 5 & 3yr old. The home was clean, manager was responsive and we had a nice view of the ocean. I highly recommend!

Beautiful home, great location

Great honeymoon

We had a great time here. It was a super close walk to the beach. and the house was very clean and spacious. If we were taking our 2 kids with us we still would’ve had plenty of room. The stores were also close and convenient. Great vacation we really needed it thank you.

Great for Family of Four

This house worked great for us and our little kids for a week! The beach was a short walk away which kept the sand out of our car. We appreciated the wagon for hauling our stuff to the beach. Loved having 2 full bathrooms and a washer/dryer to keep a normal routine.

Such a cute and CLEAN little house. It definitely made my family’s beach weekend great! Very clean and cozy. So many outlets and towels were available and as a mom of three, I appreciated that a lot! Will definitely want to stay there again and would recommend to friends and family!

Perfect couple of days.

Daughter and son-in-law came in from DC and wanted to spend a couple of days at the beach especially on the 4th. The accommodations were perfect and was a great location and close proximity to friends who own a house in Pirates Beach. House is very cute and had just the amenities we needed. Thanks!

We loved this property, it was clean, everything is new, and it is close to the beach. We did have an ant problem, but the property management was responsive in addressing the issue. We will definitely come again.

Everything was new! The kitchen was very well stocked. The only one odd thing was the lights in the master bedroom with flicker on and off randomly.Overall we had a great vacation!

This house was absolutely perfect! It was super clean and so so cute! The beds were super comfy! The owner was easy to get a hold of. The beach buggy helped us out so much! My daughters and I can't wait to come back. Beach is close and private. I love this place! We didn't want to leave.

Clean and comfortable

We did a brief 1 night stay. It's by a beautiful beach, we used their wagon to transport our supplies. They offered linens, beach and bath towels. All of them were soft and comfortable. Very maintained, no wear and tear at all. Loved it.

Very nice place

We really loved staying here. The walk to the beach is short and nice. We also brought our dogs and they also loved staying here! I only had one drawback and that was that there was no regular tv. It is all app based and we our a big sports watching family and at the time the Stanley Cup Finals were on. So, we had to use our devices to watch it. Not a super big deal, but would have been nice to watch on the big tv.

First vacation family trip to Galveston. We loved the house! Very clean. Nice furniture. Kitchen had all utensils we needed and bathrooms had enough towels and toiletries. Easy to book. I am always nervous when I reserve a house with VRBO. The owners email me right away. We definitely rent this place again.

Perfect spot for a beach getaway!

We had the best time at this beach cottage! Every room is so nice and you can tell it has been recently updated. The area is quiet which made it so peaceful and relaxing, a perfect spot for a getaway! After a long day at the beach, we loved relaxing on the patio with a beach view. We REALLY appreciated how the beach area you can walk to was not crowded or rowdy like other Galveston beaches can be. The wagon they provide makes it so easy to bring anything you need down to the beach. It really is a quick walk, and it’s worth it for the privacy of the beach. Also an easy drive to restaurants and coffee shops in town. Can’t wait to go back!

Stephanie house is a very comfortable place to spend our days in Galveston, has everything you need!

We went with our family to Good Tiding’s few days ago and we did have a wonderful day in here!!.(Stephanie’s house has everything you need, rooms are comfortables, bathrooms clean, living and dinning spacious and comfortables to hang out but the most important part it’s the balcony who has an amazing corner view (you can see the beach from there) and you can walk just for few minutes and be there as well, we had a wonderful times here, thanks so much for let us stay at your place Stephanie, we really appreciate your pront communication with me when we need you to ask you few things, I really recommend this place to anyone!! 🙂🙂

Good value on a clean, updated place. The area is quiet with no traffic. The porch is nice because you can always find shade or sun and listen to the waves. To sleep 7, you would have to put 2 on the queen, 2 on the bottom bunk, 1 on the top bunk and 2 on the fold out couch. We didn’t want to fold out the couch because our group has different sleeping schedules and the couch was needed for seating. Communication was great and everything about our stay was low maintenance.

Large, wrap around deck with ocean views

This charming, newly renovated beach home was the perfect relaxing get away for a few days. The large wrap around deck always has a cooling ocean breeze and has both shade and sun throughout the day. Morning coffee on the deck was our favorite time. Going to the beach is made easy with a cart to use for taking chairs and snacks and beach toys. And when we got back, there is an outdoor shower that is so nice for rinsing off the saltwater and sand before going inside. This casual and invitingly decorated home is equipped with a wonderful kitchen and relaxing living area and comfortable bedrooms. And, the owners were friendly and easily accessible for any questions we had. We definitely will come again!
