"Wonderful stay at Glenlo Abbey! The grounds and hotel are beautiful. We were upgraded to a one bedroom Lodge room. Access to the living room, kitchen and laundry were a bonus. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff here are wonderful, friendly, informative and attentive. The Palmer restaurant is very nice and the food delicious. A ride into the city center of Galway was about ten minutes. We couldn’t have had a better stay. "

"Lovely hotel in Galway. Bus stop right outside the property. Enjoyed the restaurant. Property is well maintained. Rooms are not air conditioned but a fan is provided so it wasn’t uncomfortable for early May."

"Lovely comfortable and spacious Room, very clean. Only downside was the noise from other guests as the door did not fully seal with the frame therefore was not noise proof and the doors slammed closed, the noise from the slamming doors and other guests walking down the corridor to their rooms and then the slamming of the doors kept waking/me awake. But all in all a very pleasant experience "
