Hotel is beautiful and staff are great. The Pullman was the highlight of our trip. The food is outstanding and the service even more so. Ian made our dining experience so memorable, he was personable, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The staff in the hotel itself were also lovely and very friendly. Excellent experience.

Beautiful grounds and hotel. Lots of staff on site Poor service though. No one could explain and show us how to get to our room. The extra room we had in the lodges wasn’t explained and was locked. Service at meals was long waits for service. Just very odd. Seems that focus on customer and training is the gap as facilities are stunning

Beautiful hotel!!

Absolutely loved our stay here. What a beautiful hotel! We were here to see Galway but stayed most of the time relaxing in the hotel.

It was a chaotic beginning, we arrived in a storm. But still, this is a 5 star property and expensive. We had to wait for our room, and then communication broke down and when our room was ready, no one told us. We were given bad directions (it was in the new lodge area of property) and in the rain and wind, we had to find our way. The lodge rooms are new and not properly outfitted for a 5 star property. No bath mat (bathroom floor slippery and cold), no robes, tea kettle hidden on top shelf of closet, no air circulation. We called for a fan, they said "right away", it never came. There was a wedding at the property so the bar and common areas were full of wedding guests, no place for hotel guests. First day was rough. Second day,

The most beautiful and idyllic property in Galway. The property is spectacularly preserved with its original grandeur with modern touches. The staff was incredible and really made our stay special. We will be back!

Perfect bit of luxury

Simply beautiful and matched by excellent service from all staff members you encounter. We arrived late and welcomed with professionalism and warmth. Rooms, linens and fixtures fittings excellent. Bar and lounge just what you need after a long day. Leo knowledge and charm behind the cocktail bar second to none and the best negroni and setting in a very long time.

Spectacular Hotel in Ireland

The hotel was gorgeous. The interior rooms were decorated with style and a level of sophistication rarely seen these days. Our room was beautiful and spacious, and the staff members were helpful and kind. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Great Spot to Stay While Touring Ireland

We had a great stay at the Glenlo Abbey. Wish we had more time to spend on the beautiful grounds but we were busy seeing nearby sites. Restaurants were great, service outstanding and we slept well in the comfortable bed and linens. Overall a very great stay. Eat at the Pullman - such a great experience.

Excellent hotel

Out of our 3 hotels that we stayed at on our trip to Ireland this one was by far the best. From the moment you walk in the staff that greet you the doorman and reception are so friendly. Breakfast and food here was excellent definitely recommend the Pullman carriage for dinner again the staff very friendly.

Glenlo Abbey exceeds expectations

We loved our stay at the Glenlo Abbey. The grounds were so lovely, as was the bike riding, our adult children didn’t want to go back into Galway on our 2nd day! The food is wonderful, we really enjoyed the hot breakfast and cold buffet, as well as dinner at Palmers. And the spa treatments were so relaxing, they were an added bonus.
