Such a gorgeous property from walking down the entrance to the gardens to the foyer the cosy little snugs everywhere. The room was amazing and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food at the bistro was delicious. The breakfast was on point. Enjoyed the leisure centre so much. The whole stay was a real treat!

The staff were all great and breakfast and the restaurant were fine but the rooms and common areas need refreshing. Having said that the beds were comfortable just an overall tired feeling about the place.

Nice gardens. Easy to get to. Staff, like everywhere in Ireland, was really friendly. The bar and attached restaurant was pretty good. The bartender was not a local and could not answer any questions and was not as friendly as an Irish native.

Overall property is self contained with restaurant, pub, health club facilities. Staff were extremely helpful and the setting is superb. However the event center can have late activity and you need to be cognizant of the rooms above the service area, had a late night wedding reception with the a DJ, ran to after midnight.

My husband and I stayed at The Ardilaun for six nights and it was the one of the best experiences we've had when travelling. The rooms were immaculate and spacious. The staff were very warm and hospitable. The Bistro Bar was my husband's favourite as he watched the World Cup games there while having a pint of Guinness. All in all, 10/10 for The Ardilaun for us! We would love to go back.

Our room was clearly updated recently; brand new bathroom. Beds comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and the Bistro was terrific for a late dinner. This hotel is a bit from the enter of town but has ample free parking.
