The docks in the old town of Lidk?ping, southern Sweden, might not be the prettiest sight in the world, but it is my hometown and will always mean a lot to me. The town of Lidk?ping is about 600 years old and still a market town which once made it famous. The word "k?ping" in the name means "market town." Lovely location for town centre in charming setting although the hotel rooms offer minimal comfort, and the building is showing age requiring a facelift to bring out its original charm.
