My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and my birthday in Qananonque staying at the 1000 Islands B&B Bulloch House. Our host was most gracious, attended to our every need, and provided a spectacular breakfast each morning to fortify us for the dayās activities. The Bulloch House is conveniently located in walking distance to the visitors center, parks, many, many different ethnic restaurants and several boat tours to explore the 1000 Islands and Boldt Castle on Heart Island. The antiquity of the area and the service provided by the staff there's outstanding.
Unfortunately, the upscale dining was not available weekdays when we stayed

This was the perfect spot for us, but know that it's not a traditional hotel. It's an old limestone manor house that has been converted into well-stocked short-term apartments. There isn't regular housekeeping or always-onsite staff as there would be in a hotel, but any questions we had were answered very quickly, and we didn't find this difference to be an issue. The house is located in a sleepy residential area outside of town (that admittedly isn't exactly gorgeous - this building is clearly...

Really comfortable B&B. If you don't mind sharing a bathroom I highly recommend this place. Stephane was super friendly and really tried to make your stay as nice as possible.

Perfect speedy check-in. Kathy the Inn keeper provided the perfect balance of privacy and friendliness. She was available, helpful and informative as we needed. Breakfast was truly gourmet and delicious. Daily afternoon tea and cookies were the perfect snack after a day about town. Inn was well accompanied and we lacked for nothing. Beautiful place. We are going back!

The facilities were completely satisfactory for the price.
About three or four hours after leaving the hotel, I received a phone call asking me if a car key which had been found on the ground in front of my room happened to be mine. I had already notice that the key was missing and was very pleased that they would make the effort to contact me just to check if it was mine.
Since I was already a couple hundred kilometers away, I asked if they could mail the key to me, and they happily...
