"We only stayed here one night, but the staff were so friendly and accomodating. The rooms are HUGE. Breakfast was very filling, we were offered eggs, an assortment of bread, salad, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. The kids enjoyed the pool and the games out on the terrace. The manager, Toby, was very friendly and our kids loved his dog, Moon."

L'après midi , si c'est un jour de congé, la piscine n'est pas agréable, il y a beaucoup de gens de l'extérieur, mais on comprend que l'hôtel doive rentabiliser, et le matin elle est juste pour nous. "I booked for a senior suite. I was placed in a junior suite because even though I had already paid they double booked it and gave it to someone else. I was upset, but they said I’ll be refunded for the difference. I reached out several time to the property, to Expedia and they weren’t able to help. Even tho I was given a receipt with the amount to be refunded. Now I am filling a claim with my bank. Additionally, the food was terrible, they only have one iron on the entire property which I needed...

"Absolutely excellent. Great staff everywhere. The local employees from Cotonou were the very best in courtesy, willingness to assist and offer information. Only one white woman who apparently is “boss” was rude by speaking rudely to an employee that was helping me when she interrupted us and gave him her keys and ordered him to go bring things from a car… employee was very professional and finished his assistance to me before moving on. Staff went above and beyond making me and my son have the best experience ever. Food was amazing. Restaurant staff were amazing. Pool and all surrounding were in great condition. Security was professional and welcoming. My new favorite hotel. And I used to go to the Sheraton that became the Sofitel… the GOLDEN TULIP LE DIPLOMATE exceeded all my expectations. My son and I will go there again on our next trip. "
