"This was a very pleasant stay in a spacious room. All the personnel was superfriendly and always ready to help out with any requests. Roof top terrace was great to hang out at with beautiful views. Excellent location with good restaurants nearby and a grocery store within walking distance."

"Nice staff, close to center, bus stop nearby "

"Hotel Galeon is an excellent location to stay in Santa Cruz, clean and very well maintained. Only a short walk from the historic town centre. "

"The restaurant is close early..in case you arrive late."

"Fabulous staff, rooms, bathrooms. We loved the bar service to beds at the lovely swimming pool, the gardens were a spectacular surround for the rooms and pool. We ate in the restaurant once - it was great. The local restaurants are about 5 mins walk away, or a short public bus ride (2-3 stops) to the marina for very very fresh fish. We loved it all and we will return. A special thanks to everyone who gave us great service- esp Lord Nelson."

"good hotel great staff and ideal location"

"Really good location, the view from the room was beautiful and the park place was easy to find. Breakfast was a bit surprising because that wasn’t like normal hotel breakfast. The restaurant was like some local cafeteria and we didn’t get any menu but the waiter told what we can get for the breakfast. There wasn’t too many options but it was okay. Overall the stay was really nice and perfect for us!"

"The property was absolutely gorgeous with very well maintained gardens. The entire staff we met was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and was happy with our stay. "

"Dated property with a lot of potential. It seems cheaply refurbished some years ago. Some areas are nice (like the lobby) other are bit worse (rooms, hallways). Staff are really nice and there were many food options. Beautiful views, depending on the room - some might be a bit overlooked."

"J'ai reçu une confirmation de ma réservation de VRBO/Expédia pour 2 nuits (1er au 3 avril 2022). J'ai communiqué avec The hacienda rural pour valider les modalités d'arrivée et j'ai su avant d'arriver que la nuit du 1er au 2 avril n'était pas disponible. J'ai écrit à VRBO/Expedia et je suis toujours en attente de VRBO/Expedia pour mon remboursement. Je vous remercie d'accuser réception de ce message et de me faire un suivi. Cordialement, Marjolaine Rodier-Sylvestre"
