Lovely hotel, I just had a poor experience for a number of reasons. Just had the car washed, and on arrival I was told the paved carpark (which was half full) was reserved for the restaurant…guests had to park down a gravel track in a gravel carpark, car was filthy in the morning. Got to the room and it stank of bleach (literally burning my nose), had to air it out for a good 30mins to make it habitable. The WiFi signal did not reach my room…so no WiFi. On check out, the staff member who directed me to the car park the evening before, kept asking me why I did not have a parking ticket (with the gate code to get out)…probably because you did not give me one? It’s a stunning hotel in a great location, enjoyed it otherwise…but the above issues spoilt the experience.

This felt like a bit of a hidden gem ! Beautiful, grand waterfront mansion on the doorstep if the Lake. Garda was a bit less traditional than the other towns but worth it for this place as a base to relax and then check out the rest of the lake. Slightly dated and run down but had everything we needed.

Een waar paradijsje

Allereerst: erg vriendelijk personeel; hier mag het hotel trots op zijn. We hadden een kamer met uitzicht op de fijne tuin, maar ook op het meer met geweldig panorama over Garda en de berg erachter; echt niets op aan te merken. Het bed was extra groot, en de bedbank was al opgemaakt bij aankomst. Allebei erg comfortabel en zowel wij, als de kids hebben er heerlijk op geslapen. Super netjes en luxe. De deuren sloten het geluid goed af en de gordijnen lieten geen licht door. Een fijn terrasje om ook buiten te kunnen genieten van het zachte avondbriesje. Het eten was er heerlijk en net iets goedkoper dan in Nederland.. waardoor we er iedere avond hebben gegeten. Ook ontbijtbuffet was royaal. We hebben twee nachten onweer en overdag een uurtje heftige regen gehad, maar verder was het prachtig en perfect weer. Op 10 minuten wandelen kom je in Garda waar de veerboten vertrekken en de terrassen erg fijn zijn. Het oude centrum en de winkeltjes zijn erg charmant. Verder is er veel te doen in de omgeving; kortom: voor ieder wat wils! Om de hoek van het hotel heb je een ruim kiezelstrand waar je heerlijk kunt zwemmen in het meer waar het water op een aangename temperatuur is. Maar neem wel je waterschoenen mee.. het water in- en uitlopen was voor ons nogal een uitdaging. Bedankt team Hotel Du Parc!

Hervorragend ist die Lage des Hotels direkt am Lago di Garda. Der große Park incl Liegeplätze, der kleine Pool, das angegliederte Bistro, die Aussicht aufs Wasser. Der includierte Parkplatz. Mein Tipp: Etwas mehr Sauberkeit bei der Zimmerreinigung, etwas mehr Schönheitsreparaturen (Stichwort Teppich) , ein bisschen mehr Sorgfalt innen und außen und schon wäre aus dem 3-Sterne Haus ein 4-Sterne Domizil. Fazit: War trotzdem gerne hier und würde dieses Hotel immer empfehlen - trotz der Macken.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Schade ist, dass seit der Übernahme der ital. Hotelkette die 4* nur mehr auf dem Papier stehen, den folgende Mängel waren vorhanden: - Whirlpool im Garten nicht verfügbar - Springbrunnen im Garten defekt - Wenig liebevoll gepflegt (keine Blumendeko etc. vorhanden) - Restaurant verpachtet - nur sofortige Zahlung möglich - Frühstück: Um einzusparen war an der Frischetheke kein SB möglich (angebl. wg. Corona) was völlig sinnfrei ist, da alles andere SB war - Preis/-Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt

Schöner Aufenthalt in Corona Zeiten

Man weiss ja nicht, wo man seine Ansprüche in Covid-19 Zeiten positionieren soll.... Das Hotel du Parc hält sich wacker in diesen schweren Zeiten, das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Zimmer, wie auch die anderen Räume des Hotels sind ausgesprochen sauber. Das grosse Plus dieses Hotels ist die Lage, nämlich direkt am See ohne Strasse oder Bahn davor. Das gibt es kaum woanders. Jedem zukünftigen Gast sei angeraten, ein Zimmer zum See zu nehmen, denn die hinteren Zimmer sind arg nah an der vielbefahrenen Strasse. Sowohl die Klimaanlage als auch die Heizung funktionierten gut ! Lästig war, das für jede Kleinigkeit auf der Terrasse Cash verlangt wurde. Ein Anschreiben aufs Zimmer war nicht möglich. Terrasse und Garten sind ansonsten herrlich. Der recht grosse Pool ist sicher eine schöne Ergänzung bei entsprechenden Temperaturen. Was ich mir wünsche für dieses 4-Sterne Haus, von dem es 3 ganz sicher verdient hat: 1. einen Fernseher mit 45 Zoll statt 45 cm - vor allen Dingen bei über 5 m Betrachtungsabstand. 2. Austausch der vollkommen überflüssigen Whirlpool-Badewanne gegen eine vernünftig begehbare Dusche, der Platz wäre da !

A superb hotel with friendly staff, nice clean rooms, great breakfast and beautiful grounds (with an excellent swimming pool). Fantastic position overlooking the Lake and only a short walk into the centre of Garda with numerous cafés, shops and restaurants. Parts of the hotel are a little dated and one or two of the staff could improve their customer service but in the majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. Please, though, why does a quality hotel have to play piped pop music inside and outside all day?!
