Some staff helpful and friendly. More info need regarding booking dinner, staff said I had to wait until 8pm(I missed first sitting) to book, then when I went to reception at 8.03 they said I was to late to book a table. Nice clean hotel and conveniently close to Garda and bus station.

Good: Close to the lake.very nice promenade with a lot of shopping business , cafes and restaurants.The Palme has two pools and enough green area around. It is a nice 3Star Hotel.

A slightly larger hotel that was quite worn out. You can hear the neighbors' rooms very well and the rooms are quite unattractive. A bit deep pools for children (from 160 cm) and not really clean but still swimmable. Ok hotel for short stays.

What can I say about the barmy palme? The room was tired, the shower was very small the balcony was not very private but all in all adequate. The staff were always polite and good fun. I enjoyed my stay although my expectations were not high. Would I stay here again..... Possibly.

Great place

Great place. Adequate food, clean pool, though they ladders are in need of servicing) the room was comfortable but had an unfinished look. The AC worked great and the environment was welcoming. Great staff

Had supper one evening. Was going to go out but decided to stay at the hotel. Big mistake, it was awful! Mainly some salads, and ran out of main course. When they did replenish it was cold. Ended up still going out to eat.

Happy with hotel and price but area very touristy.

Can't do much better for the price. Hotel is older and attracts an older crowd, mostly German, Dutch and English tour buses. Both English and German are spoken by staff. Room was clean, balcony overlooked pool, town, mountains and lake. Great sunsets viewing. Happy with breakfast buffet, cold meats, cheese, fruit, egg, bacon, yogurt, etc. Towels: don't expect terry, they were more like a table cloth, but fresh every day and they dried fast.

Upon arrival, the room had dust and leftover trash from previous guests, and there was visible black mold near the ventilation system. The overall condition of the hotel felt worn and poorly maintained. Service in both the bar and reception was unhelpful and unfriendly, which added to the negative impression. On a more positive note, the breakfast restaurant staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast itself was decent. Unfortunately, the positives did not outweigh the overall poor experience.

Terrible Hotel,

Worst Hotel i have stayed in, Room was tiny, Small Squeaky Bed, Dark wardrobe and Chest of drawers, 2 chairs , room needed a paint job, lots of cobwebs,Bathroom was tiny, smallest Shower i have ever seen,Room was on Ground level, no view,out side table and chair were rusted, Room was right beside a noisy boiler room, Terrible soundproofing woke up a few times during the night from other guests returning to their room, and terrible karaoke until 12oc. Did ask to reception to move room and was refused , Breakfast was lovely, No Air-con . Switched off in August. No iron and ironing for guests to use, No Wifi in room, There are a lot of nicer hotel in Lake Garda for the same price. Lake Garda is a lovely place to visit,

We arrived at this hotel dressed in full motorcycle gear after riding all day in temperatures up to 30°C and just wanted to get a shower and freshen up. We booked through Hotels.com, the staff at the checkin could see our reservation but would not give us a room key as the booking had not transferred to their system. We were told to take a seat and wait we were not even offered a drink of water. After half an hour I messaged Hotels.com who were very helpful and contacted the hotel to sort it out. As the hotel could see our booking and proof of payment they could have and shout have sorted it without my intervention. The lady who served us in the bar was friendly but the breakfast team as rude as the receptionists.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wurde die hinter Scheibe Befahrertür eingeschlagen. Sie haben uns mit einer Abdeckfolie und einem Klebetape geholfen. Wir haben das sehr geschätzt das uns da ohne Nachzufragen geholfen wurde.

Hotellet ligger fantastisk med kort gå afstand til byen. Hotellet er ældre men har sin charme og poolområdet er godt. Personalet på hotellet er fantastiske og hjælpsomme. Der er mulighed for at købe snack, mad og drinks. Det eneste minus ved stedet er en ganske forfærdelig morgenmad. Hellere sætte prisen op på stedet end servere denne kvalitet af morgen mad.

Für zwei Nächte für mich völlig ausreichend. Sehr freundliches Personal, ideale Lage, Tiefgaragenstellplätze, Pool, schöner Außenbereich. Das Hotel ist insgesamt in die Jahre gekommen, die Einrichtung etwas altbacken aber sehr sauber. Frühstücksangebot passt, die standards: Eier, Speck, Wurst, Schinken, Käse. Schade finde ich Kaffee aus dem Automaten aber im allgemeinen alles vorhanden und ausreichend um gestärkt in den Tag zu starten. Mir fehlten nur Ablagemöglichkeiten im Badezimmer aber damit kann man sich arrangieren. Wenn ich noch mal in Garda übernachten würde, würde ich das Hotel erneut wählen.
