"Perfect for our needs. The location was close to the car swap meet, shopping and food. It is in a very safe area and parking ouside the door. The property had everything we needed and many extras."

"A great place to stay with family - plenty of space, clean, and really responsive hosts"

"Lovely guest house, pet friendly, well-stocked kitchen! Would definitely stay again."

"A very nice place to stay with younger children (ours are 6 and 3).Empty propane tank was promptly replaced when host was notified. Note that no open fires are permitted."

"Our stay was awesome! The place was so cute, and clean. The owner was very thoughtful to include a guide to the area, as well as leaving out snacks and stocked up waters. Will be back for sure!"

"Such great hosts! My kids (ages 7 and 13) and youngest nephew (age 17) absolutely LOVED it! They played piano, foosball, ping pong, and played outside on the swings and basketball court. The hosts were so welcoming and their dogs were wonderful as well. Perfect place for a family. Quiet and welcoming!"

"This cottage is perfect. Everything from the private location to the whimsical decor was just what we needed for a great weekend getaway. The host was extremely responsive and let us feed the precious pasture pets carrots! We usually stay in town at the hotels but opted for a more private spot this stay. The cottage is clean, amenities plentiful, hot tub clean and relaxing, it was such a welcoming atmosphere and exactly what we were looking for. Definitely recommend and we will be back in the...

"The location was fabulous the apartment was very clean. We were very happy!"

"Enjoyed our stay at the Rested Rooster. property and house was perfect. Very convenient and comfortable. Host was great. "

"This was probably the most hospitable I've ever booked on VRBO! The place was GREAT; very quiet and peaceful... was stocked with snacks, juices and waters, and fresh fruit from their produce stand (we even stopped at the stand to get more!). Nice back yard with a fire pit and outdoor games. We'll definitely be staying here again when we're back in the area!"

"Wonderful, open indoor space."

"This is a very nice, comfortable, cozy and clean option for staying in the heart of Gettysburg. We found the parking behind the house very convenient as you can walk to any location in the town with ease- and sometimes it’s hard to find parking. Also the house itself is in very good condition with lots of room and amenities. We never once heard the people staying in the lower apartment. It felt very safe and private. Thank you for opening your doors and providing a non hotel option."

"This house was a great find! Bedrooms were big and comfortable and the outdoor area was huge and lovely. Thanks for a great stay!"

"The house and property were truly wonderful. We were looking for a secluded and quiet place, where we could be closer to nature, and this was the perfect fit. Sitting on the deck enjoying the quiet with our morning coffee while our dogs explored the yard below was so peaceful. The hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge provided much needed recovery after hiking. We were even able to have our grandchildren visit for a family dinner, some games of cornhole, and finished with the host-provided s’mores...

"Clean, easily accessible, a nice place to stay for the night, enjoyed our time there & would come back again."

"We have claimed this lovely Homestead as our future Home rental when visiting our family in Gettysburg. This enhanced bright farmhouse is a tranquil escape. Fresh, clean and very spacious with a fully stocked kitchen of high end appliances. High quality, comfortable furniture and bedding. Large bathrooms included plenty of thick towels and showering products. Enjoyed morning walks on the private country road. Our little dog was able to frolic this countryside without a leash… she was elated....

"Good experience"

"This home is easy to access from the main road and is situated on a beautiful golf course. There is a good restaurant within the golf club that has great drinks and a patio. The home itself is spacious and comfortable for people traveling with pets. The fenced in section is a huge advantage! The sunsets are indeed impressive!"
