Avoid at all costs Staff are unhelpful and borderline rude. Booked a double room for sole occupancy and was given a twin room. When I protested this was not what was booked I was fobbed off. The Stirling Highland Hotel
The location was great for seeing the castle and the old town. The decor is tired and could use a little attention. The breakfast was okay. They could use an additional coffee machine as the wait for a cup of coffee was quite long.

Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!).
