"I’m a fan of Clarion and this is the nicest one we’ve stayed at. My son says it’s better than a resort. It’s peaceful with plenty of outdoor area to relax. The pool is clean and nice. The doors are outside with parking right out the door but it was not loud. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Shower was great. Breakfast is in the bar area of Mike Anderson’s. My son appreciated the grits and real bacon plus they had hot sauce, we are Louisiana people. Coffee was Community, we drink that at home. Overall, we were very impressed. This is on our list to stay at again. "

"We were pleased to find regular size fridge, 2 burner stovetop , microwave and sink. Didn't have to eat fast food during our stay. "

"The staff was helpful and pleasant. The rooms were quite and clean. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. It would have been nice to have a safe in the room, but not a dealbreaker. Can't complain about the out side as it was kept as clean as you can keep it when you are pretty much surrounded by swamp. It wasn't real close to town, but not so far from it. Might be why you didn't have all the noise. It set just 23 miles outside of New Orleans. And no gators visiting the parking area, so that's a big plus. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit New Orleans for all the fun and excitement, but would prefer the quite after all the excitement to be able to unwind and recoup. "
