I figured the location being close to the beach would be great but phase ii island is under lots of construction and doesn't have the services that phase I has so this is a great location if you want steps. The noise from construction and the road noise was constant. The room cooled well, but the bathroom stayed a little warm. "We had an excellent stay at Samann Grand Hotel. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The complimentary airport pickup was seamless, and the shuttle back to the airport the next morning made our arrival and departure stress-free. Check-in was quick, friendly, and professional. Our room was clean, comfortable, and the beds were very comfortable after a long day of international travel. It was the perfect overnight stay before heading to our overwater bungalow resort. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel well taken care of throughout our short stay. We would definitely recommend Samann Grand to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and well-managed hotel near Malé Airport."
