This Redwood duplex is located on the crystal clear Smith River, a National Recreation Area, that is popular with kayakers & swimmers. Professional Kayakers' tours begin or end only 1/2 mile away on Highway 199. And one of the best swimming holes on the river is located one mile away at the confluence of the North and Middle Forks of the Smith River at the Horace Gasquet Bridge.

Plus, it is only a 10 minute drive to Redwood National Park and Stout Grove or Walker Road which are easily accessed & enjoyed by nature lovers of all ages and abilities. And where hikers can see 3 of the world's 10 tallest trees, located 3/4 mile on the Mill Creek Trail, in The Grove of the Titans.

Or you may just want to rest at home on your deck with sunshine, a beverage, food, or a good book. When you finally go to bed, you may have the best night's sleep ever -- unless it's too quiet for you!

Wonderful place. Spectacular location.

Thank you to our host for a wonderful visit at her new large, clean dream vacation home near the redwoods. The location overlooking the gently flowing river is sweet and soothing - so peaceful. We loved being there. Eileen was welcoming and accommodating. Everything was comfortable and new. Would love to return!

Awesome place in a great location!

My fiancé and I stayed at Eileen’s place for a couple nights while visiting the Redwood forest. She greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the property, and gave us fantastic recommendations of what to do in the area. She even had snacks for us upon our arrival. I would recommend her place to anyone staying in the area, super close to all the Redwoods sites and the coast. Thanks again!
