"Overall good value, great location, helpful staff, a nice experience"

"The primary plus of this hotel is its location, about 70 meters from the entrance to the Amsterdam Centraal train station. This was important to us, because our days were spent on day trips to Haarlem and The Hague via train. So it was a REALLY convenient location! And despite that central location, including proximity to stations for many of the (quite noisy!) trolleys and the "Lovers" canal tours, the rooms are incredibly well insulated from external noise! However, the INTERNAL walls are paper-thin: we could easily hear discussions and coughing in the room adjacent to ours. The bed was very comfortable, but the room around that bed was severely limited. The staff members were wonderful about facilitating check-in and helping us store our luggage before check-in time and after check-out. They spoke flawless English. We didn't avail ourselves of the restaurant or the breakfast, instead walking across the bridge to have breakfast at one of the many restaurants a short walk away, and there are more in the (quite large) train station, another benefit of the central location."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Amsterdam. The room was comfortable and we slept well. However, we did find the breakfast room very busy, even though we tried to vary the times that we went to breakfast. Overall, we felt that the breakfast room was just a little too small for the number of guests staying there. Also, we feel that a premium hotel should replenish the water in the room every day. We enjoyed our stay, but would think twice about returning there at the price."

"This hotel is very conveniently located next to public transportation and Central Station. The staff was great and the room was clean. The restaurant on the top floor had delicious drinks and oysters."

"The hotel staff were very kind and accommodating. We really appreciated their helpfulness navigating a new city! The room itself however, was mid at best. It’s extremely small and lacks any short of space to have your things. There is no shelving or storage area in the bathroom or the room, besides the mini sized open closet, if you could call it that. The location is about a 15 minute walk to the train. It’s not really worth it to “save money” when you can book something else closer and that’s more walkable. For two girls sharing a room, this was TIGHT and frustrating trying to get ready and such. Just something to consider as you’re traveling with friends or a partner."
