Eenvoudig mooi hotel in leuk dorp

Prima hotel, vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel. Eten was goed. Prima plek als uitgangspunt voor wandelingen door Drenthe, bezoek aan Assen en bezoek aan de hunebedden.

Geweldig voor nachtje op doorreis

Fijne bedden lekker geslapen vriendelijk bediening open ontvangst parkeren bij lokatie wordt ook gebruikt voor het aanliggend restaurant en parkeergelegenheid was erg klein. Parkeren aan de weg geen probleem

Perfect Hotel

Het is een goed hotel, aardig personeel en als je van wandelen en fietsen houd een perfecte locatie maar als je liever gaat winkelen of iets wil gaan doen is het overal erg ver vandaan en je moet alles met de auto doen want het ov reed door werkzaamheden niet.

Mooi gelegen in rustig dorp,schitterende tuin,heerlijk eten,zeer vriendelijke eigenaren en zeer vriendelijk personeel je voelt je echt welkom.

Hoewel het personeel echt vriendelijk is en de locatie zeer geschikt om als uitvalsbasis te dienen voor de 'couleur locale', is het is meer een 'inn' dan een hotel, een slaapplek met een mogelijkheid om wat te kunnen ontbijten. Mijn vrouw en ik komen al heel wat jaren in hotels, maar we hebben voor echt minder geld in luxere en modernere hotels kunnen overnachten. Met zeker een uitgebreider ontbijt ook. Hoewel de koffie echt goed was, was de keuze aan brood, vleeswaar en kaas echt heel basic en echt teleurstellend. Er was bv geen roerei of echt sap. De prijs hiervoor is wat ons betreft echt niet marktconform en kan ons inziens niet volledig terecht worden geschaard onder de noemer 'hotel' naar het reguliere verwachtingspatroon. Het is meer een restaurant - hotel - combo. Er mist een 24/7 receptie. 's Avonds na 22:00 is er geen personeel meer, want alle personeel is dan naar huis. Mocht je laat zijn heb je dus gewoon pech. Als er daarnaast 's nachts iets zou gebeuren ben ik toch benieuwd wat dan de vervolgstappen zijn in bv hulp en opvang van de gasten. Ook als er zich ongeregeldheden op één van de kamers zouden voordoen.

Pieterpad

Het was een weelde van rust en gezelligheid. De ontvangst was aangenaam en zeer prettig. Ook later gedurende het diner en ontbijt. Er was altijd tijd voor een praatje. Het diner is een aanrader en het ontbijt gewoon goed. Alles wat je maar wil. Zeker iets om een keer terug te gaan en wat langer te blijven. Mogelijkheden genoeg. Nogmaals bedankt van een stel dat verwend werd tijdens de tocht van Pieterburen naar de St Pieterberg
