"The cabin was very outdated. The pictures make the cabin look much nicer than it was. There was dead bugs everywhere inside the cabin. The hot tub was extremely small even though it said it could fit 6 people. The driveway getting up to the cabin is a nightmare. It almost feels like you are on a rollercoaster climbing the first hill. If you don’t have a truck/jeep style vehicle, you will not make it. There’s no tv in the common area which we found bizarre. Only in the weird loft part of the house and in the basement. No shower in the upstairs bedroom, only a tub which is also odd. All and all it was okay but a 4-5/10 at best. Wouldn’t book again"

"The Antietam Overlook Inn is a wonderful B&B perfectly situated on a hilltop in the Maryland Piedmont, just minutes away from Antietam Nat'l Battlefiield, Sharpsburg MD and Shepherdstown WV. The wilderness setting is stunning -- I saw more wildlife in one hour drinking my morning coffee than I saw in an entire day in Shenandoah Nat'l Park. The staff prepared a delicious communal breakfast for the 3 couples staying that night along with us. Great for pets -- they have a Frenchie, a farm cat and an African Gray parrot. While we only stayed one night, I would absolutely return to this beautiful part of Appalachia for an extended stay."

"I really can't rave enough about the stay we had at this beautiful mountain haven! We were here on a 3-generation family vacation - my father in law has great interest in Civil War history and this home was perfectly situated to get to many sites easily. We all loved this house! Secluded, quiet, peaceful with gorgeous natural surroundings. We were seriously obsessed with the design and decor inside. Everyone thought the beds were amazingly comfortable. The kitchen is AWESOME and fully stocked. We cooked a lot and wanted for nothing. We had a blast playing ping pong and video games on a rainy day. Blair and Nadia were superb hosts with very prompt communication. When we couldn't find the remote for the ceiling fan in our room they very kindly delivered a floor fan to us which was above-and-beyond service. We hope to stay in one of their properties again in the future!!"

"Amazing amazing amazing. Such a quaint place. We had a fabulous time with our daughter from Richmond and her family and it was a good inbetween place for our other daughter from Lancaster, pa. Talking about revisiting for a holiday. "
