Sky Villa is a one-of-a-kind luxury cabin, accommodating 1-8 guests, with a million-dollar view in the desirable Chalet Village Community in Gatlinburg. Only 3 miles to downtown Gatlinburg and 5 miles to Pigeon Forge, Sky Villa is in a prime location to access all that the Smoky Mountains have to offer. This 4 bedroom, 4 bath chalet is designed for the perfect vacation. Unlike other cabins, our view of the mountain range is unobstructed during all seasons and is perfectly designed for relaxations, romance, and fun!
As you pull into the entrance, you will notice our dusk-to-dawn lighting so you are never in the dark! As you enter the cabin, you will be greeted with an open floor plan with incredible windows to observe the panoramic mountain views, coffered ceilings with indirect lighting, a stack stone fireplace, farmhouse themed dining area, and a gourmet kitchen with all the extras to make you feel right at home! Furnishings of the cabin are modern, comfortable, and accommodating for a party of eight.
The main floor features a large master suite with a beautiful adjoining bathroom. Easily accessible on the main floor is the laundry closet, complete with a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.
In our upstairs game room, kids and adults can enjoy our 7-foot pool table, 2-player tabletop arcade machine, a 50-inch large Smart TV, and a fun truck bar, all while overlooking the panoramic mountain views from the large wraparound windows. The upper level also features two large master suites with adjoining bathrooms.
For our guests who want to enjoy a movie night on the big screen, our theater room will be sure to please! Featuring our 85" Smart TV and deluxe theater seats, you can enjoy all of your favorite movies and sports without leaving the cabin! Also on the lower level is a fourth bedroom and an accessible full bathroom directly across the hall.
Sky Villa provides a modern space for you to show off your culinary skills. The gourmet kitchen has bright granite countertops and plenty of pantry space for all of your groceries. A suite of stainless steel appliances and a fully stocked kitchen, with an island for extra prep space, will have you feeling like a gourmet chef in no time. For all of the coffee lovers, there is a Keurig and a standard coffee maker. The dining room’s beautiful farmhouse table has seating for 6 with a bar top counter providing 3 additional seats. If you’re a grill master we haven’t forgotten you! Next to the patio is a charcoal grill waiting to be lit up to prepare your steaks, burgers, and chicken. When the meal is complete enjoy dinner on our oversized wraparound deck that is sure to entertain! Our eight outdoor Adirondack-style counter-height chairs feature two counter-height chairs connected by one matching table.
If you’re looking for some relaxation following dinner, wrap up your evening under the ambient lighting beneath the gazebo, while submerging yourself into the 7-person hot tub with a glass of wine and a long, relaxing soak!
The following morning, enjoy your coffee while gazing at the stunning backdrop of Mt. LeConte and those beautiful long-range views that are sure to take your breath away! If you are in the mood for a fun picnic and a bird's-eye view of the Smoky Mountains, head up to the top of our 2-story gazebo with the highest mountaintop outlook to enjoy lunch on the 8-person picnic table!
For our guest who must stay connected we offer wireless internet and Hulu TV. We offer high speed wireless internet and streaming YouTube TV for cable. Our cable package includes many channels such as ESPN, SEC Network, and FXM just to name a few!
Our guests also have access to all Chalet Village HOA Clubhouses, which features multiple swimming pools as well as tennis courts. Ober Gatlinburg is a 15 minute drive and has skiing and tubing in the winter months, as well as ice skating and a variety of outdoor adventures year-round.
The entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a simple 10 minute drive. There are plenty of trails, gorgeous views, and drives to accommodate adventurers of every kind!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: (If your questions are not answered here, please feel free to message us)
1. What Linens are included? – We provide linens for beds, bath towels, and wash cloths.
2. What household supplies are provided? – We get you started with 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, mini dish detergent, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent pod, kitchen trash bags, and travel/hotel size shampoo and shower gel.
3. What does the kitchen include? –The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen plus glassware blender, toaster, slow cooker, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, a Keurig, and a regular coffee pot.
4. Do you provide any baby items? – Yes! We provide a high chair and baby gates where stairs apply.
5. Do you provide a grill? – Yes! We provide a charcoal park-style grill with lid and condiments table. We do not provide charcoal, lighter/lighter fluid.
6. Do you provide fire wood? – No need, all of our fireplaces are electric.
7. Do you allow pets? – No. Under no circumstances do we allow pets. Due to severe asthma and severe allergy of the owner who supervises and stays in the house between reservations, no pets, animals, ESA, or SA's of any kind are allowed.
8. Is the hot tub cleaned after every stay? – Yes! Our hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled for every stay.
9. Is there a community club house and pool area? – Yes, in Chalet Village, we have 3 community pools and clubhouses. The pools are open from Memorial Day Weekend in May through Labor Day Weekend in September.
10. Is the price flexible? - We do NOT offer discounts, nor do we eliminate or reduce any of the fees.
11. When is the second payment due? – 30 Days prior to your stay.
12. When will I get the address and cabin access info? - Address, personalized door code, and driving directions will be sent in a separate email approximately 48 hours prior to arrival.
13. What time is check-in and check-out? – You may check in any time after 4pm and you must checkout prior to 11am on the day of your departure.
14. How do cancellations work? - Cancellations or shortened stays that are made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date will be fully refunded. Cancellations or changes that are made within 60 days of the arrival date are non-refundable.
15. Do you provide travel insurance? - If cancellation is a concern, we do recommend the purchase of Cancellation Protection from CSA (this does not go through us).
16. Can I cancel if the weather is bad? – Cancellations due to weather will not be refunded.
17. How is the drive up to the cabin? – It is a 7 minute (3 mile) drive up the mountain. The roads are well maintained and paved. However, there are some steeper parts that are "scary" for some people. The driveway is flat and open for parking of 4 vehicles.
18. Do I need 4-wheel drive? – Only if snow or ice conditions are present. It’s basically a rule of thumb for all mountain roads in this area, that if ice or snow conditions are present, you should have 4-wheel drive or snow chains.
19. Is this cabin secluded? – Sky Villa is perched at the top of a hill overlooking the mountains. However you can see other cabins from the decks & there are direct neighbors on either side.
20. Was this area affected by the 2016 wildfires? – Yes. You may see evidence of trees and properties that were affected by the fires and possibly hear construction noise from other cabins being built. The photos we have displayed are current and the views are absolutely spectacular!
21. Can I book through you direct? - We only accepts bookings and payments via VRBO.
22. What TV package / channels do you provide? – We offer high speed wireless internet and streaming cable TV through YouTube TV. Our cable package includes many channels such as ESPN, SEC Network, and FXM just to name a few!
23. Is your chalet decorate for the holidays? — Sky Villa is the perfect cabin for spending the holidays! Your family and friends will feel festive and joyful in the beautifully decorated living area. We keep the cabin decorated in line with Winterfest in the Smokies, so expect to see holiday decor from mid-November to mid-January!
24. Do you ever reduce the stated prices – On occasion, if upcoming unsold dates remain, we may reduce prices for those unsold dates. That will already be reflected in the pricing that you see here.
25. Are there any days where Check-in or Check-out is not permitted? - There are only 3 days that we do not allow check-ins or check-outs. They are Easter, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day. This allows our housekeeping staff the opportunity to be off to celebrate with their families.
