"This is my 5th stay at the Kastanienhof. It is located conveniently across S-Bahn and bus station, short bus ride to the airport. The room was lovely and clean. I absolutely love their buffet breakfast, so good. The hotel is a short, pleasant walk from the beautiful old downtown with a great variety of restaurants and shops. Kastanienhof is my go-to Airport Hotel."

"We stayed in Erding for a night after arriving to Munich and heading to Salzburg next day. We had a great spacious room for 3 adults and 2 kids. The area around felt very safe, we walked to the burger place nearby for dinner and walked back. The only thing I regret is not doing enough research about the area to know that there are terme in Erding! "

"Great property, 10 minutes driving to the airport. Nearby city Erding offers dinner options. Missed a small fridge and AC in my room, with open window became very noisy early morning due to the front road. "

"Room was too warm for me but everything else was superb. The breakfast buffet was incredible and I had a fantastic dinner at the upscale restaurant. We had kids with us. Couldn’t have picked a better place for children! From the water park to food, it was a great time for children! Staff were very friendly and efficient. Planning to go back again."
