"The house is quite old. The cleaning is terrible. Many of the dishes were filthy. It's a little difficult to get there. The entry is unmarked. Sea Eagle Retreat may have been the name of this property. The entrance had that board.Numerous light globes and the kitchen fan were not functioning. One of the primary TVs is unable to function. "Alkina lodge is so beautiful and nestled right in the forest. You can see kangaroos and deer up close right outside the window. The entire place is high end luxury from the bedding, furnishings, kitchen appliances and bathrooms. The kitchen is very well appointed and has everything for a large group. We only stayed one night but I wish we had stayed longer! It is very close to 12 Apostles and we were able to get there in the morning and beat the crowds. Expedia showed this as a 1 bed, 1...

"A great house to stay in with friends or family! We loved sharing dinner on the deck/verandah together whilst the kids ran around the garden or played in the cubby/slide. We saw a Koala on a tree in the garden and had stunning views! Kitchen/bathrooms all modern and clean, excellent working order. Only thing is a bedside light would’ve been handy in the kids room but next time we go away we will pack our night lights! Lovely holiday in a wonderful place, we enjoyed nearby beach and pub too....

"We are 4 members of one family in Port Campbell to bury our father/ grandfather.We needed a fuss free and peaceful environment in which to prepare and then ‘come down.’ from our emotional farewell.We loved the rabbits and my German daughter in law was tickled going ‘ out the back’ to the bathroom.Thanks to the lovely owners who provided many extras and tips for eateries and good coffee(provided).I will tell my friends and highly recommend the cottage….not to mention the lovely beds!!"

"Daysy Hill Country Cottages was a wonderful place to stay near the Twelve Apostles. Seeing the sheep and chickens on the property together with all the wonderful birds with the farm fields across the way was just lovely. The property is immaculate and our cottage was just perfect. Would definitely recommend them if your are looking for a place to stay near Port Campbell and the Twelve Apostles area."

Port Campbell Parkview Motel & Apartments

"Nice, safe motel. Very quiet. Good laundry facilities onsite. Hot water wasnt very hot in room though... wonder how sanitary it is getting people of wash and dry dishes with water that isnt hot enough and a single tea towel... if you want your dishes washed hygenically then perhaps in room dishwashers should be provided..."
