Ideal for families and large groups, this stately three-story home can accommodate up to 20 people with its 7 bedrooms, 2 full sleeper sofas, and 4 baths. Enjoy amazing views of the Strip from the covered front porch with plenty of space for families and pets to play on the surrounding grounds. Take in the area’s attractions, play a round of golf, purchase wine from the local wineries, then relax in style at The Colonial.
Amenities offered by the pet friendly Colonial include: A/C; Wi-Fi and cable; A spacious kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and fully stocked with cookware, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils and dishwasher; Fresh linens for the beds, and towels are supplied in the 4 bathrooms. The Colonial’s beautiful outdoor entertainment space features a wood burning fire pit and stocked propane grill.

The Colonial: A Geneva Gem.

We stay here every year. This year, my 91-year old mother joined us along with her 5-year old great grandson, her grandson and me. Four generations! The Colonial helped her turn back the hands of time. So relaxing sitting on the huge comfortably furnished porch, watching the activity on The Strip. If you don't enjoy staying at the beautiful Colonial, check your pulse. Already looking forward to staying at The Colonial in 2026. So is Mom.

50th winery weekend

House was great. Lots of room. Was perfect for adults, not too many bunk beds or single beds, that adults do not want to sleep in. Close to strip and easy drive to most of the wineries. Perfect for large group we had 11 adults and still had extra rooms. Has everything you could need!

Amazing stay!

The house was practically right in the fun of it all. The bar being so close was also a bonus. The house itself was very roomy and beautiful. The place was clean and taken care of. The host and housekeepers were very friendly and made our stay feel very welcomed. I would for sure stay again.

Family Time

The house is large enough for 20 of us family members to gather throughout the week. The weather was great and the front yard was used a lot for games and fun in the sun.The fire pit was used every night and the chairs are very sturdy. We have rented the Colonial house for many years now and always look forward to the new house updates that happen every couple years. One complaint is that we wish there were more signs showing "Colonial House Parking" along the fence! We had many instances that some random car would park at the house and take up one of our parking spots, it was very irritating especially Friday thru Sunday. All in all, it was a very nice place to use for the week and we will continue to rent from Matt and PJ as long as we are able. Koenig Family

Did not stay because of bug infestation.

We arrived at the property and it was infested inside and out with midges. I called the owner. He agreed to refund my money. We could not stay at the property. The bedrooms were full of these midges. The owner was completely understanding and had no problem with our refund. I am now trying to get VRBO to refund their service fee. I had to find other arrangements for 15 people. I have booked with VRBO several times in the past with great experiences. Hopefully they meet my expectations and refund the service fee for a property that could not be used. Again, I understand that these midges were nothing that the owner could control and I appreciate that he did the right thing for us.

Always Fantastic!!!

My family and I just had another wonderful reunion at The Colonial and as usual, everything was absolutely perfect!!! The house is so clean, spacious and comfortable and we love that there is plenty of seating, both inside and out. You can gather at the large dining room table, the huge front porch or around the fire pit. The location is amazing, literally right on the strip but set back a bit so that there is also some level of privacy. There is so much to see and do in the area that we always wish that we could all stay longer. Thank you for the excellent accomodations!!!

House is exactly as described and exactly as pictured. Very clean. Plenty of room for big groups. Couldn’t hand pick a better location if you’re coming to GOTL. Easy check in process. Great fire pit. And at check out you’re only asked to handle your trash (perfectly reasonable), whereas most places expect you to be the cleaning service before leaving. I have nothing negative to say. Highly recommend.

The property was perfect for our needs! Enough rooms for all of us to enjoy a fantastic Fourth of July weekend together! Being right on the strip was so convenient as we could walk to any of the activities and/or shops. We had a wonderful time and especially enjoyed the firepit on the property!

October Stat

The house is great for large groups, sleeps 20 easily. The house is also perfectly located on the strip of shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Perfect for parties and there is a large fire place. The time of the year we went it was cold at night, the house doesn’t have central heat and the heated are gas controlled with an open flame and risk CO exposure if not done right, we did not feel comfortable lighting these. Also the midges were all over the outside of the house and hundreds got inside. One of the guests left because of this. It rained the last night we were there and the attic ceiling started leaking in one of the other guests rooms. The house is old and needs some updating. Additionally there were decorations left in places in the house from a previous party that the cleaning people missed and weren’t exactly appropriate for kids so hopefully those are removed before a big family party. Otherwise we had a great time!

Fall fun

Perfect fall get away. Enjoyed the strip, shopping, good food, and sitting around the fire pit with friends and dressing up in Halloween costumes and going to see the bands at the clubs. House was in a perfect location at the center of town. We did some cooking and there were plenty of pots, pans, utensils available. Would rent again.

Birthday retreat

Great place! Right in the middle of everything GoTL has to offer. Big house with a lot of room! Fire pit and unlimited firewood was a hit. Stayed here twice and had a blast!

Large home in great location

The fire pit was a popular place to hang out every night. Great ole home to hang out with friends and/or family. We all felt there should be mattress upgrades on many of the beds and the carpet on the steep top floor stairs needs to be replaced - a few exposed staples caused some minor skin injuries during our stay.
