Was very amazed at how maintained inside and out

I would rent this house again . It is a perfect location . The spiral staircase is very tight but the kids had no problem with it . House was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay .

We had a great experience from beginning to end. Beth was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with! The home was lovely. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was close to the strip and lake and perfect for a weekend getaway! I would definitely stay again and most definitely recommend it to others!

Amazing Girls Weekend

The property was clean. Our suite had everything we needed and more. The owners were there. They are very caring and friendly people who were always asking if we needed anything. Close to everything in town.

Super Clean!

The property enjoys a great location very close to the strip yet in a quiet neighborhood. The porch and yard are very nice and shaded and we enjoyed sitting out there playing Old Maids with the grandkids. If cleanliness is a "must have" this property is for you.

Gem in the heart of the Strip!

Great rental in Geneva on the Lake! We had 2 adults, 4 teenagers, and a golden retriever in our group and the accomodations worked out great. We had more than enough room. The beds were comfortable and the place was really clean. This is a place that should set the standard for other cottages. Can't wait to see what the owners do with the other units!

Peaceful!!

This is a very well kept charming house. My favorite place was the front porch. i could sit on the glider and see the lake as well as the foot traffic on the strip. The lake breeze was an added bonus! It is very conveniently located yet quiet and accessible. You do not need your car once you arrive unless you want to travel to the state park. There are plenty of amenities and a smaller park within walking distance.

Only good thing is the location

First of all, we did enjoy our trip, but there were many issues. First of all, we had to clean the entire place with bleach before we felt comfortable, it was disgusting!! No one cleaned here before we arrived, plus it smelled of cigarette smoke and mildew. I have video of under the beds that have not been cleaned for at least a month and the inoperable windows. The windows were covered with plastic sandwich wrap which could not be opened!! The post showed 2 queen beds and a daybed with a trundle, when we arrived it was 2 queens and a old broke down futon so each night one of us had to sleep on the floor. The post clearly show at least 2 tv's..... nope, only 1 20inch on the wall. It is a shame that we had absolutely perfect weather and couldn't even open the windows! Sorry to say but this was the worst place we stayed in many years of coming here.

Dirty and does not sleep 6

This stay was awful. Check in was supposed to be at 4:00, but cleaning was being done late so we had to just wait outside and were unable to get in until 4:30. I don't know what was being cleaned, the place was so dirty that we had wipe down counters and sweep up crumbs/sand from the floors ourselves once we were finally allowed in. The sleeping ammenities were not as described. The "twin bed with a twin trundle bed" pictured is actually an unsleepable futon (it has hardly any padding and thick bars going both ways so there's no spot to avoid them) and an old rollout cot that is very short and has a thin mattress. The owner was contacted and told us he would give us a partial refund to make up for the incorrect bed listings, but that hasn't happened. Instead, I heard from him today at 10:30 as we were loading the car saying we were supposed to be out by 10:00 and need to get out of the cleaner's way, .even though the listing clearly says 11:00 and was even posted on a sign inside of the property.

Small, cramped and bug infested

Although Tuscany was in a great location, the unit was extremely cramped, hot and bug infested. Some of the electrical outlets were in dangerous places and not up to code. One person could barely fit in the only shower in the unit. The living room was unusable due to the fact that you could not fit 4 adults and there was only seating for two. The spiral staircase was so tight that it was difficult for an adult to go up and down, let alone carry any luggage. The only place in the unit that we could all congregate was the kitchen, and it was still very cramped with tiny chairs and uncomfortable wooden stools. The 2 window air conditioning units ran constantly and could not keep the unit below 82 degrees. As we arrived in Geneva at 4:00, the check in time, the place was locked and we still did not receive the access code from the owner. After repeatedly trying to contact the owner for 5 hours, she finally gave us the code. Due to this, we did not have access to the unit until 9:30 at night, and we were scrambling to make other arrangements. Finally, there were several bugs in the unit. Although the owner set up several bug traps, my wife awoke to bug bites all over her torso, that have left marks that are still present today. I contacted the owner about these concerns and she dismissed them and did not offer a solution or partial refund. I was extremely disappointed with this experience and will never stay anywhere near this house again. If you like hot, cramped and bug infested quarters decorated in a French theme yet called Tuscany (Italy) and deal with an owner that will do nothing to help you, then this unit is perfect for you.

Thunder 2021

Great location. My only complaint was the bee nest in the ground just right of the front porch stairs. I was happy to see there was bee spray in the house which I used to spray in the nest but only after my wife and a friend was stung. With that said all else was fine we had a great weekend and was very comfortable staying at the Tuscany. Served us well.

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation!

The apartment we stayed in was clean, warm and inviting. It has a nice layout and is easy to navigate. The curving staircase is very cool and I can see kids really having fun. Once you navigate it the first time, it is easy to move up and down between the first and second floors. The front porch is ideal for sitting quietly and reading or playing board games. Lake Erie is visible from the porch which adds to the calming effect. The owners; Beth and Randy are easy to communicate with and are very nice. They keep the unit very clean and welcoming. The house is located very close to the GOTL strip and that makes it easy to access important places like Mary's Kitchen, Madsen Donuts and Eddies Grill. We had a wonderful time and recommend this place for a quiet and fun vacation.

Such a prefect location!!

Beth was great to communicate with and helped me feel comfortable being a first time VRBO user. The apartment was the perfect size. We loved hanging out on the porch enjoying the weather. Easy walking to enjoy the strip. Spiral staircase would be a bit difficult for an older couple but nice downstairs bedroom as an alternative. Shower is small so may be a challenge to bathe children but fine for adults. Overall a great stay at GOTL.

The apartment was perfect for our party! It was so close to the places we needed to be.

It was very accommodating. We had everything we needed. Was very clean and provided enough space for the 6 of us. We really enjoyed the front porch and spent a lot of time there because the weather was so nice. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
