"Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sunset Chalet. The over the top characteristic was the stunning views of Lake Tahoe from our deck. Chalet was exceptionally clean and well stocked with thoughtful amenities. Host was immediately available to resolve an issue when the area power was shut down and we called her cell phone. Would we return- absolutely."

Warm and inviting as you enter the driveway.

"We enjoyed our stay. Several attractions within a short drive, but not a lot in walking distance. House was clean and the bedrooms were spacious. Everything worked properly. Outdoors/yard space is a bit limited. Lots of parking."

"We felt like we were in the treetops, and never tired of the view from the balcony. We loved the ginormous TV in the living room for watching the Olympics in the evening. Our one suggestion is to have a table that can be expanded to fit a larger group than four people, but we made it work. We would definitely select this property again for a return trip!"

"Good location. Walking distance to amenities. Modern, well-stocked with dishes. AC was nice as it was warm when we stayed. A few things could be improved: doors squeak, pots and pans old and should be replaced, stove old and probably past date, family bath had one broken towel bar, lack of bathroom counter space. I suggest that at these prices, there should be cable or satellite. Overall, we were satisfied."

"It was alright for what you get. But zero service. Says it has wifi but it's 2g and it's totally unusable. Might as well not have any because it kept disconnecting. "

The great room is the perfect gathering place with section seating for 5, gas fireplace, and 60" Smart TV w/ cable.

"This property was exactly as listed. Lots of room for our entire family. Great location for any activities in the South end. We had everything we needed. Could have used a few more box fans, as we had some really warm weather, but ceiling fans helped a lot. We texted the property manager and didn’t hear back…ever. Overall, great place to stay."

"Property was nice and had some good views. I enjoyed the walking path outside of the hotel. The studio room was okay, pretty standard besides the kitchenette. Would have been nice if the view wasn’t blocked by a tree. Would have given 5 stars if there was breakfast or even just coffee or water somewhere onsite. "

"Super dog-friendly and plenty of amenities inside the room and around the property. Loved the fact that you have a mini kitchen and living room in your room. Only downside is that there is no AC but tons of fans and can open the windows to allow the breeze in. Staff is friendly they keep the property clean. "
