What was great: Location! Close to the harbor, metro and a short walk to Old Town. Great air conditioning for a European flat! Every room (except for the bathrooms) had its own unit! Beds were comfortable. Quiet apartment.
What wasn't so great:
Lack of hot water! We were there for 3 nights and out of the 3 showers taken, I had about 30 seconds of warmish water. Cold showers for the rest of my guests as well.
The "third" bedroom was a single bed in the living room so it was a bit weird for my kid who was stuck in the living room when he wanted to sleep earlier than people wanting to leave the living room.
The place is showing its wear and tear. I'm sure a larger place like this with two bathrooms and great location gets a lot of bookings but things are a bit worn and dirty. Kitchen stuff was slightly rusty. The moka was moldy. We really didn't use the kitchen much because there wasn't a lot to use and lack of basics like paper towels. Showers were moldy and bathrooms didn't have fans!
My least favorite: The check-in. Our train was late and while we were in the metro on our way to the flat our host texted us to let us know he was at the unit. He stayed for 6 minutes, attempted to call us but we couldn't answer because again, we were still underground. He left after 6 minutes of waiting saying he had to leave since I didn't answer him. We ended up waiting in front of the flat on the sidewalk for more than 35 minutes without knowing when the host would show up.
