The house was beautiful! The rooms were decorated in period decor and spotless. The classic updated kitchen was beautiful. It was a perfect place for a women’s retreat.
We had a great stay. The King bed and large kitchen were great amenities. The distance to the local Trail Head was amazing and convenient to all restaurants. Charming town that I hope grows and grows.
Thank you Karen for another lovely stay in your beautiful home. You always make it so warm and inviting for all of us. Even the youngest begins the countdown in November for when we will be staying in the “purple house” in Georgetown. After these years of memories I’m sure it will be a memory each of my three grandchildren will pass on to their children one day.We are already looking forward to next year. Many blessings to you in the New Year!
Very nice truly historic building in a great shape and a perfect location
Beautifully restored house, spacious with a lot of character to it.
Nice, cozy, quiet, very pleasant environment for dinners and good times with friends and family, beautiful dining room, very well-stocked kitchen.
Thanks for everything!
Very accurate description of a really cool old house. Exceptionally clean, well stocked, and comfortably furnished. This property is what vrbo should be about. Other landlords can take lessons from this homeowner. Thank you for sharing this house with my family!
The pictures actually don’t do this property justice. Karen’s communication was great and the property was great. Comfortable sleeping arrangements and cleanliness of property was good too!
I’m not sure I can say anything more than I have already reviewed about this home. This is our family “go to” spot to stay while in Georgetown. It perfectly fits the size of our family (9). The kitchen is well equipped for our meal preparations. The location to town is wonderful.I am already in the process of rebooking our next stay. Thanks again.
My kids ran through this house amazed by it! The home is older but gives to the charm. Everything you need is here and the host is quick to answer any question. We would definitely return to explore Georgetown a bit more as we were in for a wedding in Idaho Springs so didn't explore much.
This beautifully preserved historic home was the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. It was incredibly clean, spacious, and full of charm. The well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals each day, and the comfortable furnishings made for a cozy stay. The house is conveniently located near downtown Georgetown, and we enjoyed walking around and exploring the local shops. Its proximity to I-70 made for a quick and easy drive to Loveland. The host was very responsive and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!
The “purple house” has become our go-to home in beautiful Georgetown. Always warmly decorated for the holidays it welcomes us to our Holiday Market stay each year. Without exception every store and restaurant owner and town employee was gracious and thankful for our business and visit to town. It was a cold, windy weekend but hearts and spirits were warm and giving. Our family LOVES this town and will be sure to return for our 19th year next year making sure to stay in this beautiful Victorian home. Thank you for the lovely memories.
We found the house to be easy to access, clean, and in a great location for walking through town. The beds were a bit on the hard side for all three couples, and the pillows were extremely flat. But other than that we were comfortable and had a good stay. We’d recommend getting groceries before coming to town because there really isn’t much in Georgetown, however the coffee shop, restaurants and bars were all great. We didn’t cook at the house because we couldn’t find groceries but the kitchen setup seemed good.
My adult family of 5 with three adult children in their 20's were very satisfied with this VRBO. It was spacious, close to many ski resorts and the owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Unfortunately, many of the shops in Georgetown close after the New Year but we did enjoy strolling the downtown area on our day off from the slopes. I would not recommend walking to downtown in winter due to steep incline from VRBO to downtown plus chilly temps once the sun goes down. Would recommend this VRBO & rebook it without hesitation. Thank you, Karen! You are an excellent hostess!
The house is beautiful and has a ton of character. Its location is perfect and in a beautiful little town. We skied in Loveland and it only took us 15-20 minutes from the house! We were also blown away by how much equipment and how modern the kitchen and certain parts of the house were. It was a perfect balance between charm and functionality - would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area again
Beautiful home full of history and Georgetown charm. The home had everything you will possible need. I'll be looking forward to some future stays. Thank you!
We had such a great experience and loved our rental! Thank you for working with us and answering our questions throughout our stay. Our family rented this property in the past - and I am certain we will again!
