The staff were very friendly except for one blackjack dealer. i loved the food options. Bistro Mariposa had excellent food and Dave our waiter was great. The casino had way too many slot machines and not enough blackjack tables. They had one table with a game that i couldn't quite understand and nobody was playing it. Real easy to get to. My wife has issues with her back , so finding a bed she can sleep on can be tricky. The beds there were very comfortable and she had no problem. Overall it was a excellent stay. I'd recommend it for a nice weekend getaway due to it's proximity to Denver.

The property itself was great, a beautiful scenery for a great price. However, I was extremely frustrated when we called the hotel after our 14-hour drive home, only to find out that their housekeeping staff had not turned in the brand-new clothes that were in the closet with the tags still on. I can take responsibility for forgetting them, but I was hoping for a better response from the hotel staff. If they were doing their job and checked the entire room, they would have found them. I would have been glad to pay for shipping. I knew exactly what was in there and gave an exact description. I was extremely disappointed and expected such an establishment to have a staff with better integrity. When people travel, they want to stay somewhere they can trust the staff. Being we were only there for 2 nights; we chose not to turn on our room service light. In hindsight we are glad we didn't. Dishonesty and theft are not good qualities for a hotel to possess. On the off chance they 'forgot' to check the closet - then the next person got some new clothes. Again, more dishonest people. The experience would have been perfect, had our items been returned to us after a proper room cleaning and inspection.
