The Space:
This newly constructed home is in the Bighorn Crossing community of Georgetown. Four major ski areas, the Pepsi Center and Red Rocks Amphitheatre are all less than 45 minutes away from your front doorstep. It doesn’t matter if you want to be indoors or outdoors, up the hill or down, you have hundreds of options to keep you occupied.
The warm color scheme of the great room in The Honeysuckle Homestead brings all the magic of colorful Colorado indoors. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a super-restful king bed and a chair for lounging. The mod feel of the room is complemented by nightstands with lamps, and there is a hanging lamp over the chair in case you feel like reading instead of lounging. A massive dresser privedes plenty of storage space, and there is a ceiling fan for your added comfort.
Attached to the master bedroom is the master bathroom. Bright and roomy, it features double sinks with separate mirrors and lighting over each one. This bathroom has a magnificent glass shower, tile floor, and counter space for everybody.

Convenient location to ski resorts
The unit is pretty much as pictured, just less fresh with a need for deeper cleaning. Georgetown is a beautiful historic town with several restaurant choices and interesting shops.

Great location, but pretty dirty
Fantastic location. We loved staying in this spot, grocery store, brewery, restaurants, and gas station within walking distance. Beds were comfy, but the folded towels left on the bed were soaking wet which made the mattresses wet - not fun. The carpets were extremely stained, dirty, and the floor didn't seem to be swept. For the price I was expecting the cleaning to be more thorough. We did contact the management about the issues but they didn't offer any accommodations, simply replying with a "sorry about that, the carpet cleaning doesn't come until after your stay and we'll make sure the towels are dry next time"... that was disappointing. Overall, if they can get their customer service and cleanliness up its a great spot.

Cozy home too much road noise
It was stated they don't have air conditioning but it's not needed at this altitude just open the windows for a cool breeze. This is all true but the road noise from the highway does not make this very nice at all.

Winter Vacation Hub
This was the perfect spot to be close enough to Denver to easily go see friends and also close enough to the ski resorts that much of the traffic was avoided on ski days. Getting in was easy. There was a nice size garage to pull into to unload out of the weather. The place was clean and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials and even some pantry items. Some commented on the noise from the highway, but since it was winter and the windows were closed, I did not have any issues sleeping. There is a good brewery with food within walking distance, which was also a plus after a long day of skiing.
