The property was exceptional. Our room was lovely, clean, and well-appointed. Every aspect of the renovation was clearly well planned and thoughtfully executed. It was wonderful to have ample parking right out front. We only wish we could have stayed longer. After so many generic hotels on the South Island, it was a lovely treat to find this cozy gem. We hope to returnāitās a wonderful addition to this charming town.

Stayed for one night on a road trip through. It doesn't look like much but the room was great. Very spacious, had a fridge, kitchen, kettle, dining table, couch...and everything was spotless. Owners do a really nice job with the rooms.

Room was good, staff very pleasant, close to the harbor, so we were able to walk down to see the little penguins coming in for the night. Only one came, but it was a treat to see it!

Very spacious - two bedrooms, full kitchen, and living room. Comfortable beds, quiet, and clean. Lovely restaurant was a short walk away, but not much else to do in Fairlie.
