Excellent room and large, well-equipped bathroom! The delightful owner even offered us a fan for the room as the weather has been quite warm. She is very sweet but speaks no English. A lovely country place.

This is a fascinating little mini-farm in a centuries-old house. She has chickens, goats, and a miniature pony. Lovely places to relax on a lounge in the sun or eat out under an umbrella in the garden. Its 18-inch thick walls are perfect soundproofing. The silence is a welcome relief from a busy city. Newly updated rooms in a convenient location with a very friendly, accommodating staff. (When the handle of our luggage needed fixing, they promptly offered us use of a complete screwdriver set.) Both the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. A 5 - 10 minute drive to the dining and tourist area of Alencon. We stayed for one night at the tail end of a week-long driving tour of Normandy with our college-aged daughter. We did not have breakfast. Only concern was the free parking adjacent...

Adjoint family room gave us some extra space. The staff was friendly, though the check in time was given as 2pm while the reception was only occupied from 4pm.

This property was in an excellent location to the Martin Family Home/ Alencon Sanctuary as well as various other important Roman Catholic landmarks and churches. This property was also very clean, and the staff was often very helpful. Furthmore, checking in and out was a breeze. I would stay there again.
