"I had a last-minute need for a four day stay in Gettysburg for a conference. This establishment came close to my budget. The facility is a former Econo-Lodge and it is a bit dated. Having said that, it is obvious that the owners are very particular on keeping the rooms clean and presentable. My room was clean, the bed linens clean and crisp and the bathroom was also clean. I did use the air conditioner as the temps were in the 80's. The compressor made a loud noise upon start each time, so I did not use it at night, but it really wasn't needed. They do collect a security deposit for incidental damage upon check-in, I was concerned about it, but it was refunded back onto my credit card a couple of hours after my departure."

"I absolutely loved the stay. The house was beautiful and well maintained. I stayed in the Tennessee room overlooking the street. It was not as loud as I expected, the room was cozy, and the curtains kept the room comfy at night. I ordered the breakfast for two mornings and was not disappointed. Everything was fresh and homemade, filling and delicious. The staff were all welcoming. I did a ghost pub crawl the first night with Richard and a group of roughly 13-14. Super fun. I do recommend taking advantage of the tours the Inn offers, as well as exploring the town and countryside on your own. The Inn is close enough to the battlefield that you could walk if you wanted, but driving is better to get to the visitors center. There is so much to see, I’m definitely coming back again to do more."

"Breakfast offerings were disappointing. Not nearly as good as other places we’ve stayed at. Reception desk people were very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. Tv reception was very spotty. It kept freezing and had very limited channels."

"For an inexpensive option in Gettysburg close to EVERYTHING this is the place. Very basic, dated too but that never bothers me but it’s CLEAN! And wonderful staff! So friendly and super accommodating! Don’t expect a 4 star hotel but again it is a great option with a great price! Thanks for the stay!"
