"Roots is a terrific apartment hotel. Your love the neighborhood which is vibrant, extremely urban and filled with action. Hotel itself has spacious rooms. Nicely appointed without extremely fancy detail. But efficient and just perfect for a stay in Accra. The location is walkable, but also an easy Uber anywhere including the Osu Night market and magical Makola Market. (western tourist. Will potentially feel overwhelmed by the velocity of these places, but they are well worth exploring and despite the extreme pace & vibrancy they are totally safe) it’s a great hotel. There’s also a nice restaurant both in the hotel and several options nearby."

"The room was clean, bed was comfortable, i loved the pillows, i appreciated the daily, large, glass bottle of water in the room, the AC was great, staff were helpful and friendly, location was excellent and food was great."

"I like the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. I didn’t like the wait time for checking in especially since I just got off a long flight. There wasn’t any liquid detergent for the washing machine and one of the chairs had a nasty stain on it. However I would recommend this hotel to others."

"My stay was amazing!!! Staff were very great and responsive, Also very accommodating. I would highly recommend this place. It’s close to the airport and a lot of tourist attractions. Area is beautiful with lots of amenities and things to do on the property. House keeping always came to check and see if we needed the room clean which we skipped some days, but my overall experience was amazing I give this place 10/10"

"We arrived early in the morning and the room was already waiting for us. It was large required with a desk, fridge, a patio, and a roomy bathroom. The place was spotless and the staff did an excellent job keeping it that way. The breakfast buffet was great with a nice selection to satisfy every taste. We made good use of the pool which was super nice. The in-pool bar was a nice perk. The outdoor restaurant was really nice serving up nice local dishes with lots of seafood. They also made some excellent cocktails. I'm short, we loved our stay at this hotel and would love to visit again."
