"Our room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was always fresh with plenty of choices. The hotel is broadly located just walking distance from all the main attractions and restaurants of JBR. Our cleaner / housekeeper Akash was very friendly and helpful when we asked for more water to be provided. All of the staff were very courteous and polite. My friend had lost her sunglasses and when we reported it to guest services and the reception team they were most helpful in helping us to review the CCTV footage and try to locate them again which was really appreciated. One thing I would say was that there is an issue with waiting times for the lifts (elevators) and sometimes we waited for close to ten minutes before the lift would come which could be quite frustrating. Overall we had a wonderful 7 night stay at the Amwaj and would return in future. "

"First time staying here last month. Hotel- layout and design is nice, very modern. Rooms- very nice and upto date, loved the theme and bathroom design, decent size, always cleaned and sheets changed Room view - selected balcony sea view and it was perfect! Food- opted for breakfast option and it didn’t disappointment plenty of options! Depending what time you go will depend on how busy it was and you might have to wait for a table but the wait time was around 10 mins. Staff- polite, friendly and welcoming Pool- a little small but with it being an infinity pool it was nice with a good view! Other service - NOT related to the hotel but no way reflect the hotel standard and service. Mentioning more so that people are aware nail salon 2nd floor (they just rent the space), overpriced, and the price does not reflect the quality of the work produced and the time taken (3hrs for acrylic nail set) plus. I had to go back 3 times within 72 hours due to the quality of nail glue used! Disappointment. Overall the hotel was great, perfect for families too! "
